The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who landed in Sin City after visiting his girlfriend as she tours in Australia, was seen at a club in the Wynn Las Vegas singing to one of Swift’s early hits.

In a clip posted by the luxury Vegas casino and resort, Kelce and several of his teammates are seen singing along to Swift’s “Love Story” at the XS nightclub. DJ and music producer Marshmello can also be seen in the background of the festivities.

In another video posted by Wynn, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Kelce and other Chiefs players are seen on stage spreading champagne, dancing and jamming with Marshmello.

“A BIG thank you to @Chiefs for keeping the celebration going with us!” The post’s caption read.

The Chiefs previously celebrated with Marshmello at the Wynn right after their Super Bowl LVIII victory at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas earlier this month.

Swift joined her boyfriend on that celebration, and posted a TikTok with her parents joining them at the club.

“Accidentally going clubbing with your parents is something everyone should try at least once in their life,” she captioned the video post.

To make it in time for the big game, Swift hopped on a jet after doing a series of Eras Tour concerts in Tokyo, Japan.

Then, to return the favor, Kelce visited Swift in Australia this past week, where the couple was seen visiting the Sydney Zoo, according to E!

Swift will finish up her stop in Australia with a concert on Monday before beginning a week of shows in Singapore starting March 2.

Will Travis Kelce join her? We’ll just have to wait and see.

Jason Kelce says Travis ‘crossed a line' when he bumped Andy Reid during the Super Bowl https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/sports/nfl/jason-kelce-says-travis-crossed-a-line-when-he-bumped-andy-reid-during-the-super-bowl/3356416/ 3356416 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2024/02/image-8-5.png?fit=300,169&quality=85&strip=all In a tense and historically viewed Super Bowl, perhaps no one moment was more so than when Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce was caught on camera bumping head coach Andy Reid.

The incident took place after Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco fumbled the ball in the second quarter, and the team was struggling to find a rhythm while trailing the San Francisco 49ers.

“It looks like you caught Big Red (Reid) off-guard a little bit,” Jason Kelce told his brother during the Feb. 14 episode of their “New Heights” podcast.

“As he said, I got him with a cheap shot,” Travis Kelce said. “People are all over this, and I mean — I get it.”

“You crossed a line,” Jason Kelce said. “I think we can both agree on that.”

Travis Kelce acknowledged he needed to be a little calmer in the moment.

“I can’t get that fired up to the point where I’m bumping coach and it’s getting him off balance and stuff. When he stumbled, I was just like, ‘Oh, s—,’ in my head,” he said.

His brother echoed the sentiment.

“Let’s be honest. The yelling in his face, too, is over the top. I think there’s better ways to handle this, retrospectively,” Jason Kelce said.

The Chiefs would come from behind to edge the 49ers, 25-22, in overtime, to claim their second consecutive Super Bowl title and fourth in franchise history. Travis Kelce would finish with a team leading nine catches for 93 yards, helping to spark the win. Still, his confrontation resonated with a lot of fans.

“Yeah. I know. I’m a passionate guy,” he said. “I love coach Reid. Coach Reid knows how much I love to play for him, how much I love to be a product of his coaching career. I’m not playing for anybody else but Big Red.

“If he calls it quits this year, I’m out there with him, man,” he said, before noting that Reid is not planning to leave the Chiefs.

He said the episode with Reid highlighted his desire to win.

“I got a certain relationship with him,” he said. “He’s checked me a few times and I just wanted to let him know that I wanted this thing and that he could put it on me and I got him. It came at a moment where we weren’t playing very well. I wasn’t playing very well and we had to get some s— going.”

“Emotions ramped up,” Jason Kelce said.

Travis Kelce then said he has a tough time bottling up his feelings, while noting he and Reid have moved past what happened.

“Sometimes those emotions get away from me, man, and that’s been the battle of my career,” he continued. “Everybody else, I don’t give a s— what anybody else says. I talked to coach Reid about it today, and we kind of chuckled about it.

“I couldn’t be more proud of being his product on the field and I couldn’t be more proud of where we’ve come, as a team, since I got here in 2013. I just love playing for the guy, man. Unfortunately, sometimes my passion comes out where it looks like it’s negativity, but I’m grateful that he knows it’s all because I want to win this thing with him more than anything.”

Jason Kelce emphasized that his brother didn’t try to push Reid, calling it “accidental” and noting that his brother was “pissed off.”

While Jason Kelce said, “The optics of it look really bad,” he also said people don’t know his brother’s relationship with Reid.

“He’s obviously made light of it already,” he said. “You guys have already talked about it. I just love when people who don’t have anything to f—— to do with the situation get all riled up. Like, they’re offended. Not the guy that actually was involved in it, but people that don’t know what you two’s relationship are or how this went down. No, they’re the ones that get offended.”

“It’s definitely unacceptable,” Travis Kelce later added about his behavior. “I immediately wished I took it back. Coach Reid actually came right up to me after that and didn’t even have harsh words for me. I was ready to get a f—— ass-chewing and for him to just tell me to f—— be better. And he just let me know, ‘Hey man, I love your passion. I got cameras on me all over the place, man. You don’t want this to come off …’”

Travis Kelce said the moment just “fired” him up “even more” to win the game for his coach.

“That’s how much I love that dude, man,” he continued. “Big Red, sorry if I caught you with a cheap shot, baby.”

The tight end later clarified he wasn’t mad at his coach, which is what it looked like in the moment.

“It was the frustration of our team not having success, turning the ball over and me being on the sideline. … It was me showing my passion and frustration and letting coach know he can put it on me and I’ll make sure I’ll get this s— done,” he said.

Travis Kelce admits his Super Bowl scuffle with Andy Reid was ‘unacceptable' https://www.nbcchicago.com/super-bowl-2024/travis-kelce-unacceptable-super-bowl-scuffle-andy-reid-chiefs/3356172/ 3356172 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2024/02/web-240214-travis-kelce-andy-reid.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Travis Kelce admitted that he went too far when he bumped Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid on the sideline during their Super Bowl LVIII win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

“It’s definitely unacceptable and I immediately wish I would have took it back,” Kelce told his brother and co-host Jason Kelce on the “New Heights” podcast Wednesday. “Coach Reid actually came right up to me after that and didn’t even have harsh words for me … and he just let me know, ‘Hey man, I love your passion. I got cameras on me all over the place man.'”

The sideline exchange happened in the second quarter of Sunday’s overtime thriller. Kelce was off the field when Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco fumbled the ball near the goal line. He then got into Reid’s and started to yell at him as the 49ers took over possession.

Jason told his brother that he “crossed a line,” and he agreed.

“I did,” Kelce said. “I can’t get that fired up to the point where I’m bumping coach and it’s getting him off balance and stuff. When he stumbled I was just like ‘oh s***’ in my head.”

Reid said immediately after the Super Bowl win that it was a mix of being caught off-balance and the heat of the moment from a competitive player.

“He came over and gave me a hug and said ‘sorry about that,’” Reid said in an interview with ESPN. “He wants to be on the field and he wants to play. There’s nobody I get better than I get him. He’s a competitive kid, he loves to play, and he makes me feel young.”

Kelce ultimately finished the game with nine receptions and 93 receiving yards. After the game, he shared an on-field kiss with girlfriend Taylor Swift before celebrating the championship in Las Vegas.

With three Super Bowl titles in five years, Kelce and Reid know that winning can cure just about anything.

“So Big Red, sorry if I caught you with that cheap shot baby,” Kelce said.

‘I'm a passionate guy:' Travis Kelce discusses bump of Andy Reid in Super Bowl https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/sports/im-a-passionate-guy-travis-kelce-discusses-bump-of-andy-reid-in-super-bowl/3356160/ 3356160 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2024/02/GettyImages-1489278294.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,200 Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has offered a blunt take on his heated sideline discussion with coach Andy Reid during Sunday’s Super Bowl.

On Wednesday’s episode of the “New Heights” podcast Travis records with his brother Jason Kelce, the tight end offered his apology for the incident, which sent shockwaves through social media.

“I can’t get that fired up to the point where I’m bumping coach and it’s getting him off balance and stuff,” Travis said.

Jason Kelce, who also played for Reid during their time in Philadelphia, didn’t mince words when it came to the controversial moment.

“You crossed the line,” he said. “Let’s be honest, the yelling in his face is over the top. I think there are better ways to handle this.”

After the game, which the Chiefs won 25-22 for their third Super Bowl title in the last five seasons, Travis expressed his love for Reid, and he echoed those same sentiments during the podcast Wednesday.

“I’m a passionate guy,” he said. “I love Coach Reid. I’m not playing for anybody else but for Big Red. I got a certain relationship with him. He’s checked me a few times. I just let him know that I wanted this thing, and that I’ve got him. I wasn’t playing very well, and we had to get some s— going. Sometimes those emotions get away from you. That’s been the battle of my career.”

He also dismissed criticisms of his actions, saying that he and Reid have always had an understanding of their approaches to the game.

“I don’t give a s— what anybody else says,” he said. “I talked to Coach Reid about it today and we kind of chuckled about it. I couldn’t be more proud of being his product on the field, and I couldn’t be more proud of where we’ve come as a team since I’ve got here. I just love playing for the guy.”

Reid has indicated that he will return to the Chiefs as they try to become the first team to ever win three consecutive Super Bowls.

Kelce’s contract runs through the conclusion of the 2025 season, with a base salary of $12 million in the coming season.

Jason Kelce says Travis Kelce has had to move since dating Taylor Swift due to ‘safety reasons' https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/jason-kelce-says-travis-kelce-has-had-to-move-since-dating-taylor-swift-due-to-safety-reasons/3355627/ 3355627 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2024/02/GettyImages-2007000062.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,200 Jason Kelce shared that his brother, Travis Kelce, had to move from his Kansas City home for “safety reasons” after his relationship with pop star Taylor Swift started.

The topic came up during the Philadelphia Eagles’ conversation with Shaquille O’Neal on the Feb. 12 episode of “The Big Podcast with Shaq.”

Jason Kelce said he’s had to adjust to the fame brought on by his brother’s relationship with the pop star, which began in 2023.

“It’s crazy what it opens up opportunity wise. It’s crazy to feel how much joy you bring people or how much you affect people’s daily lives,” Jason Kelce said.

But there are “drawbacks” too, he continued. “Travis knows way more than I do,” he said. “He had to completely move out of his house.”

Travis Kelce lives near Kansas City, Missouri, where he plays for the city’s NFL team, the Chiefs.

At his previous residence, “people were just staying by his house” so he moved for “safety reasons,” Jason Kelce explained.

“And the first day he moved in the new house, a gated community, somebody knocks on the back door — a window — of the house,” he said.

Jason Kelce said he and his brother are “still learning” about life as a very public figure.

The tight end and the singer became romantically linked in July. Swift was a regular at Travis Kelce’s NFL games, creating a crossover between sports and pop culture fandoms. She flew from her Tokyo “Eras Tour” stop to Las Vegas to watch Travis Kelce compete in the 2024 Super Bowl, which his team won. It was the most-watched telecast in history.

“We’ve always been big in the football world, Travis especially,” he said. “The Taylor world and the pop culture world, that’s a whole different level. It’s a new demographic that wasn’t there before.”

Jason Kelce also spoke about his retirement plans on the podcast, telling O’Neal he would decide in a matter of “weeks.”

Travis Kelce, Andy Reid discuss viral Super Bowl sideline moment https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/sports/travis-kelce-andy-reid-discuss-viral-super-bowl-sideline-moment/3353898/ 3353898 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2024/02/GettyImages-1815366073.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,200 Winning goes a long way to smoothing over any conflict, but Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid and tight end Travis Kelce both took a positive attitude toward a feisty moment on the sidelines during Sunday’s Super Bowl.

That moment, which followed Isiah Pacheco fumbling the ball in the red zone during the first quarter, occurred when Kelce ran up to Reid and bumped into him, yelling at him about not being on the field for several key moments on the drive.

The bump set social media on fire, with many comments critical of Kelce’s actions, but Reid said that it was simply a matter of being caught off-balance by a competitive player during the biggest game of the year.

“He came over and gave me a hug and said ‘sorry about that,’” Reid said in an interview with ESPN. “He wants to be on the field and he wants to play. There’s nobody I get better than I get him. He’s a competitive kid, he loves to play, and he makes me feel young.”

Kelce ultimately led the Chiefs with nine receptions for 93 yards as they defeated the 49ers 25-22 in an overtime thriller.

The tight end, whose fame has skyrocketed thanks to his “New Heights” podcast and his relationship with music superstar Taylor Swift, spoke emotionally about Reid’s impact on his career following the game.

“I’ve got the greatest coach this game has ever seen,” he said. “He’s one of the best leaders of men I’ve ever seen in my life. He’s helped me a lot with that, channeling that emotion and channeling that passion. I owe my entire career to that guy.”

Reid and Kelce have now won three Super Bowls together, including the last two title games.

Reid insisted that the bump was not a big deal, and that normally he’s able to deliver a push right back when talking with his players.

“He keeps me young. He tested that hip out,” he said with a laugh. “He caught me off-balance. Normally I get him back a bit, but I didn’t have any feet under me.”

Travis Kelce reportedly delivers powerful speech, teammates ‘moved to tears' before Super Bowl https://www.nbcchicago.com/super-bowl-2024/travis-kelce-speech-teammates-tears-super-bowl-report/3353097/ 3353097 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2024/02/240211-travis-kelce-getty.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 The stage is set for Super Bowl LVIII — and Travis Kelce is apparently making sure his teammates are locked in.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end reportedly delivered an emotional speech on Saturday night in front of his team.

While this type of meeting isn’t out of the ordinary before the Super Bowl, Kelce’s words appear to have stuck with Chiefs players and coaches.

According to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, Kelce’s speech was described as “unbelievable” and “powerful.” Breer, citing people in the room, said that some teammates were moved to tears.

Another coach told Breer that it was “the best talk/speech I’ve ever heard.”

Several other reporters got word of the speech on Sunday, too.

“It was like a WWE-type speech,” CBS Sports’ Tracy Wolfson said. “That was the best and most emotional team meeting in years.”

NFL Network’s James Palmer reported similar details to Breer and Wolfson.

Kelce and the Chiefs will take the field tonight, with their game against the San Francisco 49ers kicking off around 6:30 p.m. ET.

Travis Kelce breaks Jerry Rice's all-time NFL playoff receptions record vs. Ravens https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/sports/nfl/travis-kelce-breaks-jerry-rices-all-time-nfl-playoff-receptions-record-vs-ravens/3340137/ 3340137 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2024/01/travis-kelce-ravens-chiefs-GETTY.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Jerry Rice no longer stands alone with an incredible playoff feat.

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce broke the 49ers legend’s all-time record for most playoff receptions in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Kelce’s seventh reception of the day gave him 152 career postseason catches, surpassing Rice’s previous record of 151.

The All-Pro tight end had three catches on Kansas City’s opening drive, which culminated in Kelce’s 19-yard touchdown reception. He finished the first half with nine receptions for 96 yards.

Entering Sunday’s contest, Kelce caught 145 passes in the playoffs in his career.

Rice’s Hall of Fame career put him at a level that at the time seemed impossible to compete with. Often regarded as the GOAT, he had the longest-tenured career among any receiver in NFL history.

After breaking one record, Kelce also is second only to Rice in postseason receiving yards (1,694) and postseason receiving touchdowns (18).

Rice had 2,245 yards and 22 touchdowns in the playoffs in his career. Kelce won’t break the yardage record and probably won’t break the touchdowns record this postseason, but as he’s proven, nothing’s off limits with him, quarterback Patrick Mahomes and this Chiefs squad.

Kansas City certainly has bigger goals this postseason, but a historic feat nonetheless for Kelce.

Travis Kelce slams fans for hate aimed at his family, Patrick Mahomes https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/national-international/travis-kelce-slams-fans-for-hate-aimed-at-his-family-patrick-mahomes/3336905/ 3336905 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2024/01/GettyImages-1687743884_1fcb6d.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,200 Originally appeared on E! All Travis Kelce wants to know is why you gotta be so mean?

While the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Buffalo Bills on Jan. 21 was full of heartwarming moments—for instance, Jason Kelce bringing a young fan to meet Taylor Swift in their suite—there is one element of the game the tight end did not appreciate: the comments made by New York fans.

“There was a lot of hate pulling up to that stadium,” Travis Kelce said during the Jan. 24 episode of his and his brother’s New Heights podcast. “Understandable. The Bills, we’re coming into their house, they want to make it rowdy. Did it get a little disrespectful? 1000 percent. Did it get a little extra? 1000 percent.”

He continued, “I’m not gonna say, because that’s what they want. I’m not going to relay it, but some things were said about the family. Some pretty inappropriate things were said about Pat Mahomes. It was pretty whack.”

And while the 34-year-old acknowledged it’s part of “coming into a hostile environment,” he didn’t share their ill will.

Why Travis Kelce Could Be “The 1” for Taylor Swift

“I respect it,” he said, “but I just wanted to make sure that they knew it wasn’t mutual. I don’t hate you like you hate us, it’s all love baby.”

Ultimately, the trash talk didn’t affect the Kansas City players, who walked away with the win, bringing the team that much closer to a spot in the Feb. 11 Super Bowl.

The real star of the show, however, was Jason, whose shirtless antics won over the hearts of NFL fans everywhere—except for perhaps his wife Kylie Kelce, who had warned the Philadelphia Eagles player against such behavior.

“The moment we got into the suite I said I’m taking my shirt off and I’m jumping out of that suite,” Jason shared during the podcast. “And she said, ‘Jason, don’t you dare.’ And she was already telling me to be on my best behavior because we were meeting Taylor.”

But thankfully, shirt or no shirt, Jason still made a good impression. At least, according to his brother. As Travis told him, “Tay said she absolutely loved you.”

How Kylie Kelce felt about Jason Kelce going shirtless at Chiefs-Bills game https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/how-kylie-kelce-felt-about-jason-kelce-going-shirtless-at-chiefs-bills-game/3336631/ 3336631 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2024/01/image-10-4.png?fit=300,169&quality=85&strip=all Originally appeared on E! There goes the loudest woman man this town has ever seen.

Jason Kelce gave the Buffalo Bills fanbase a run for its money while supporting brother Travis Kelce at the Kansas City Chiefs’ game on Jan. 21, even going on a shirtless excursion into the stadium seats.

And though he charmed everyone’s hearts when he brought an 8-year-old Bills fan up to meet Taylor Swift, there was one person who had more of a delicate view of the situation: his wife Kylie Kelce.

“I don’t think she was happy about it, to be honest with you,” Jason Kelce said during the Jan. 24 episode of his and Travis Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast. “I’m not gonna lie, I gave Kylie a heads up. The moment we got into the suite I said I’m taking my shirt off and I’m jumping out of that suite. And she said, ‘Jason, don’t you dare.'”

But the Philadelphia Eagles player was not to be deterred, telling his wife, “‘I’m not asking for permission, I’m doing this.’ And she was already telling me to be on my best behavior because we were meeting Taylor.”

Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce’s Sweet Love Story

Yet despite the stakes his wife pointed out, Jason Kelce opted to keep with the family tradition of first impressions.

“She’s like, ‘Be on your best behavior,'” he remembered, adding, “I was like, ‘Kylie, the first thing I met you I was blacked out drunk and fell asleep at the bar. This is part of the Jason Kelce charm. I want to make my best first impression. This is my best chance.'”

Thankfully, according to Travis Kelce, his brother’s gamble led to a touchdown.

As the Kansas City player put it, “Well Tay said she absolutely loved you.”

And for Ella, the Bills fan Jason brought up to meet Taylor, it was a moment she’ll always remember. “I’ve been a fan since I was about 5,” she told News 10 the following day. “I like her personality and how she sings. And when I heard that she was going to the Bills game I thought, ‘Yeah! Buffalo Bills plus Taylor Swift equals best first game ever!'”

You've been pronouncing Travis Kelce's name wrong this whole time. Here's why https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/youve-been-pronouncing-travis-kelces-name-wrong-this-whole-time-heres-why/3330726/ 3330726 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2024/01/GettyImages-1628093096.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,200 Originally appeared on E! We’ve all been fumbling the ball when it comes to saying Travis Kelce‘s name.

NFL defensive tackle Chris Jones brought up an important fact about his Kansas City Chiefs teammate — who, you may have heard, is dating Taylor Swift — while on the sidelines of their game against the Miami Dolphins on Jan. 13.

Jones turned to two other Chiefs players during the Saturday night game and said, “So y’all know it’s not even Travis Kel-see?” as seen in the Inside the NFL clip.

One of those players, in fact, did not know, asking, “What is it?”

“It’s Travis Kels,” Jones responded. “F—— crazy, right?”

Jones’ fun fact was corroborated last year on an episode of Travis’ New Heights podcast. At the time, Travis’ brother and co-host, Jason Kelce, confronted their dad, Ed Kelce, about never correcting anyone — including his own family — on how to properly pronounce their last name as “Kels.”

“Why in the world did you change your name out of nowhere and now we are Kel-see?” Jason asked. “Why did we think that our name was Kel-see for the first 24 years… 27 years of my life, 25 of Trav’s.”

Photos: Everything to Know About Travis Kelce

Ed denied intentionally changing their last name, explaining he only switched it because he “got tired of correcting people.”

“That’s a good reason to stop,” the Philadelphia Eagles player joked. “That’s as good as I’ve heard. So you changed your entire family’s name over generations because you were tired of correcting people.”

Thankfully, Ed didn’t change his tune on whether people should call them the “Kels” family from now on.

“Do whatever you want,” he urged. “I did.”

Travis Kelce shuts down retirement talk ahead of Chiefs' playoff opener https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/sports/nfl/no-reason-to-stop-playing-travis-kelce-shuts-down-retirement-talk-ahead-of-chiefs-playoff-opener/3325322/ 3325322 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2024/01/GettyImages-1900899714-e1705037718909.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,200 Whenever the Kansas City Chiefs‘ season ends, whether it be this weekend or in Super Bowl LVIII, it won’t mark the final game of Travis Kelce‘s NFL career.

The star tight end was asked on Thursday whether he had made a decision about his future in regard to potentially retiring, and he left no doubts about his desire to keep playing beyond this season.

“You guys don’t think about retirement? Am I the only one in this boat? Whoever is not thinking about stuff down the road, I blame you. I have no reason to stop playing football, man. I love it,” the 34-year-old Kelce said. “We’re still having success, coming in with the right mindset, and I just love the challenge it gives me every single day to keep being my best. I have no desire to stop any time soon.”

In a November interview with the Wall Street Journal, Kelce revealed he ponders retirement “more than anyone could ever imagine” and opened up about the physical toll football has taken on his body.

“That’s the only thing I’ve never really been open about, the discomfort. The pain,” Kelce told the Wall Street Journal. “The lingering injuries – the 10 surgeries I’ve had that I still feel every single surgery to this day.”

But while Kelce may constantly think about retirement and have a busy off-the-field life — from his relationship with pop megastar Taylor Swift to his successful podcast with his brother Jason Kelce, among other things — he doesn’t sound like he’s that close to actually hanging up the pads and cleats.

“That’s the point of the offseason, being able to get out there and find what you really love to do,” Kelce said Thursday when asked about his post-playing-career plans. “I’ve been fortunate to do a few things outside the sports world that I enjoy doing — being on camera, the (“Saturday Night Live”) stuff. It opened up some new happiness and a new career path for me. It’s funny to even say that at this point in my career because it’s so much further down the road.”

Kelce is in the midst of a Hall of Fame career. He’s a nine-time Pro Bowler, four-time All-Pro and two-time Super Bowl champion. His 11,328 career receiving yards rank fourth all-time among tight ends and his 74 career touchdowns are tied for fifth at the position.

Kelce, who’s under contract through the 2025 season, came up just shy of an eighth straight 1,000-yard season, finishing with 984 receiving yards and five touchdowns over 15 games this season.

And Kelce could soon pick up a third Super Bowl ring as Kansas City enters the playoffs as the No. 3 seed in the AFC. The Chiefs will host the Miami Dolphins on Saturday night in a game that could be one of the coldest in NFL history.

Travis Kelce gives Taylor Swift a shoutout for his top-selling jerseys https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/travis-kelce-gives-taylor-swift-a-shoutout-for-his-top-selling-jerseys/3302428/ 3302428 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/12/GettyImages-1738323617-1-e1702487412571.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=250,300 Originally appeared on E! Let’s fast forward to a lot of football jersey sales later.

Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce’s merch is reaching new heights in the United Kingdom, and the Chiefs tight end was quick to thank his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, for the assist.

While discussing the spike in sales during the Dec. 13 episode of their “New Heights” podcast, Jason asked his brother, “A lot of Swifties over there in the U.K.?”

“There’s gotta be,” Travis replied. “Only reasonable solution to all of this.”

Since Swift and Travis began dating, many Swifties have taken a newfound interest in the NFL, and the Kansas City star in particular, likely leading to an increase in sales.

As for Jason, who plays for the Eagles, he thinks there may be a glitch over his shirt purchases—humbly suggesting on the podcast that people may be snagging his jersey because they think he’s dating Swift instead of his brother.

Taylor Swift Cheers on Travis Kelce at Her 6th Kansas City Chiefs Game

“No, they’re all Kylie Kelce fans,” Travis quipped back. “Shoutout to Kylie, shoutout to Taylor. Thank you guys.”

Travis has certainly been the lucky one since his whirlwind relationship with Swift went public in September, but the “Karma” singer also seems stuck in a lavender haze.

“We’re just proud of each other,” the singer told TIME magazine in her Person of the Year profile published on Dec. 6. “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care.”

Most recently, Swift was by Travis’ side when he struck out and was crawling home after his loss against the Buffalo Bills on Dec. 10. Later that evening, the couple was spotted packing on the PDA at a Christmas party in Missouri.

And although she’s currently on a break from her tour, the NFL player did travel to support Swift during the Argentina leg of the Eras Tour. He was only able to see one show due to inclement weather, but the guy on the Chiefs had a great time beside Scott Swift in the V.I.P tent on Nov. 12.

Read on for why a million little shining stars may have aligned for this perfect pair.

No. 1: He’s a Swiftie

Long before Taylor Swift’s attendance at Kansas City Chief’s Sept. 25 game became one of the definitive pop culture moments of the year, Travis Kelce was an admirer of the Grammy winner.

The star tight end’s interest in Swift was first revealed by one of his teammates in a TikTok video posted by the Chiefs in August.

Before Kelce could answer the prompt of who his celebrity crush was when he was growing up, wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling spilled, “Taylor Swift!”

Kelce smiled at the camera before holding his finger up to his moustache, saying, “Alright now!”

Plus, Kelce was just one of many celebs to attend Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour this summer. But more on that enchanting moment in a bit…

No. 2: He’s Not Her Usual Type (on Paper)

While he does have that daydream look in his eyes (especially when he sees Swift on the big-screen at one of his games), Kelce stands out a bit when you look back at Swift’s dating history.

She is typically attracted to creative types, including actors (Joe Alwyn, Jake Gyllenhaal, Taylor Lautner and Tom Hiddleston) and musicians (Calvin Harris, John Mayer, Harry Styles, and, most recently, Matt Healey).

But perhaps that’s why her romance with the lighthearted and cheeky athlete—who signed a four-year deal worth $57 million in 2020—feels like such a refreshing option for Swift after her six-year uber-private relationship with Joe came to an end this past April.

No. 3: He Publicly Pursued Her

Looks like the 8-time Pro Bowler’s wishes came true after he all but manifested his rumored romance with the superstar through sheer will, determination and declarations of infatuation.

Kelce publicly aired his failed attempt to shoot his shot and talk to Swift when he attended the Kansas City stop on her Eras Tour July 7.

As it turns out, he had a special gift for her: He made her a friendship bracelet bearing his “number” that he hoped to give Swift. (He wouldn’t definitely say if it was his jersey number or phone number.) Alas, the NFL’s best tight end couldn’t get past the line of scrimmage that is Swift’s pre-show rituals.

“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” Travis shared on the July 26 episode of his “New Heights” podcast. “So I was a little butt-hurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.”

Despite his claim that he failed to reach the end-zone, many fans speculated that the two had been talking, something Travis more or less confirmed during a Sept. 22 appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show”. “I threw it out there, I threw the ball in her court,” he explained. “I told her, ‘I’ve seen you rock the stage at Arrowhead.

You might have to come see me rock the stage at Arrowhead and see which one’s a little more lit.’ We’ll see what happens in the near future.”

No. 4: She Isn’t In Hiding

Since her breakup with Alwyn, Swift has been seen out and about much more frequently, including outings with friends in New York City and jubilant appearances at award shows, like the 2023 MTV VMAs.

But her most talked-about appearance? Sitting in Kelce’s suite at the Kansas City Chief’s Sept. 24 home game against the Chicago Bears.

Rather than shy away from the attention, Swift cheered, screamed “Let’s f–king go!” when Kelce scored a touchdown and enjoyed beverages and a chicken tender with as one fan called it “ketchup and seemingly ranch.”

Like the public, even Kelce admitted he was caught off-guard by Swift accepting his invite.

“Shoutout to Taylor for pulling up, that was pretty ballsy,” Kelce said during the Sept. 27 episode of the New Heights podcast. “I just thought it was awesome how everyone in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her, the friends and family.”

“She looked amazing,” he added. ” It was definitely a game I will remember, that’s for damn sure.”

After the game, Kelce and Swift were spotted leaving the stadium together in his convertible.

“We just slid off in the getaway car at the end,” said Kelce, notably referencing Taylor’s hit song.”Shoutout to Taylor for coming through and seeing me rock the stage.”

No. 5: He Knows When to Pull Back

While Kelce isn’t afraid to spill some tea on his podcast about his interactions with Swift, he still expressed his boundaries about addressing his personal life moving forward.

“I know I brought all this attention to me,” he explained. “I did the whole friendship bracelet thing and told everyone how butthurt I was that I didn’t get to meet Taylor.” However, he continued, he didn’t plan to give a full play-by-play of their relationship.

“What’s real is that it is my personal life and I want to respect both of our lives,” he explained. “I’m enjoying life and I sure as hell enjoyed this weekend. So everything moving forward, I think me talking about sports and saying ‘alright nah’ will have to be where I keep it.”

But that doesn’t mean he wasn’t willing to respectfully call out the NFL for not exactly being delicate with their coverage of Swift’s recent interest in, ahem, football.

“They’re overdoing it a little bit for sure—especially my situation,” he said during the Oct. 4 episode of “New Heights.” “But I think they’re just trying to have fun with it.”

No. 6: He’s Family-Oriented

Like Swift, who is close with her parents, particularly her mother Andrea, Kelce hails from a tight-knit fam, including his parents Ed and Donna Kelce.

Donna became a beloved public figure when she became the first mother to have two sons playing against each other in a Super Bowl, when Travis faced off against his older brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce in the big game this past February.

“For all the stars to align and for them to get through high school and college and the pros. And for them to both play in the Pro Bowl and to play in the Super Bowl, and then for this to happen,” Donna told ET at the time. “This is just like a dream come true. I can’t express enough how special this is for the family and it’s just crazy.”

For the big game, Donna, who was married to Ed for 25 years before they divorced, supported both of her sons by wearing a half-black, half-red Eagles and Chiefs jacket. After the Super Bowl, which saw the Chiefs best the Eagles, Travis and Jason got emotional while reflecting on sharing the experience with Donna.

“The moment I saw mom is when I got really emotional,” Jason said on the brothers’ New Heights podcast. “It was so awesome…She was on top of the world for a week.” “She was the heavyweight champ man,” Travis added. “She was on top of it, and she shined the whole time.”

No. 7: He’s Super Close With His Brother

Like Swift and her younger brother Austin, Travis has a special bond with his older brother Jason, who inspired him to play football.

In addition to their impressive careers as NFL players, Travis and Jason launched their podcast New Heights in September 2022, a project that has only strengthened their relationship.

“What this did was gave us a scheduled 2-3 hour window where we have to talk to each other and we have to talk about what we’re going through, throughout the week and throughout the games,” Travis told NBC Sports in February. “It’s almost been like therapy, man.”

No. 8: They Have a Mutual Friend

Sure, the pair technically never met until this year, but there have been a few invisible strings tying them together.

Swift and Kelce both count Miles Teller as a friend, with the “Top Gun: Maverick” star and his wife Keleigh Sperry even being recruited by Swift to star in the music video for “I Bet You Think About Me” off Red (Taylor’s Version) in 2021.

Kelce, meanwhile, joined Miles and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes for golfing practice ahead of the American Century Championship in 2022.

Teller tweeted a photo of himself on the golf course with the athletes, writing, “Grip it and rip it.” Travis proved the bromance was real when he reposted the shot and added, “Back at it like we never left!!”

(Interestingly enough, Teller is a noted diehard Philadelphia Eagles fans, so perhaps he put in a word with Jason to broker an IRL meet-up between Travis and Swift?)

No. 9: The Squad Is Shipping

While Swift attended the Sept. 24 game solo, she brought an entourage of celebrity friends with her when she attended the Chiefs’ match-up against the New York Jets at New Jersey’s Metlife Stadium on Oct. 1.

She was accompanied by BFFs Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds and his friend Hugh Jackman, as well as Sophie Turner, Sabrina Carpenter and Queer Eye’s Antoni Porowski.

While their attendance at the game spoke volumes, even more telling was Reynolds following Kelce on Instagram.

No. 10: He Can Handle the Pressure

Not only has Kelce played in three Super Bowls, winning two of them (NBD!), but he’s also hosted Saturday Night Live, so you know he can handle intense spotlight with ease.

That may seem trivial, but Swift has penned several songs regarding her fear that her level of fame could prove to be too much for her romantic partner to handle. (See: “Peace” and “The Archer.”)

“It all depends who you’re with,” Swift said in, “If they have a serious issue with it, I guess you’ll hide or whatever, but I don’t really like that, because it makes me feel like I’m running from the law or something. I don’t want to feel like a fugitive, like, ‘Oh my god, we’re having a relationship, better hide!'”

“I feel like if you can be in a relationship and have it seem normal, that would be good.”

No. 11: Loving Him Was “Red”

Listen, when it comes to the Swift-verse, no Easter egg is too niche—including the Chiefs’ team colors.

No. 12: His Birthday

Travis just turned 34 on Oct. 5 meaning he was born in—are you ready for it?—1989. Screaming, crying, throwing up, etc.

13. A Special Connection

Speaking of Killa Trav’s birthday, did you know he shares the same one as Swift’s late grandmother Marjorie Finlay, who is the subject of her song “Marjorie” off of 2020’s evermore. If we didn’t know better, we’d think this is a sign …

Machine Gun Kelly offers Travis Kelce $500K to leave Chiefs and join Browns https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/sports/nfl/machine-gun-kelly-offers-travis-kelce-500k-to-leave-chiefs-and-join-browns/3290989/ 3290989 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/11/image-32-5.png?fit=300,169&quality=85&strip=all Travis and Jason Kelce had a big-name musical artist on their podcast.

No, not Taylor Swift.

Machine Gun Kelly made an appearance on the Kelce brothers’ latest “New Heights” podcast episode that was released on Wednesday. And he came prepared with a recruiting pitch for Travis to join his favorite NFL team.

MGK, who grew up in the Cleveland suburbs just like the Kelce brothers, called Travis via FaceTime and offered him $500,000 in cash, among other things, to leave the Kansas City Chiefs for the Cleveland Browns.

“I will give you $500,000 cash upon arrival, just for shopping or whatever you want, as well as matching that same amount as a donation to both of our high schools — Shaker Heights and Cleveland Heights — as well as everyday breakfast and coffee delivery from my restaurant, if you would just come home and put on [the Browns’ colors],” MGK said.

“You know that was the original dream,” Travis responded.

“I’ll tell you what, man, that is an intriguing offer, because you know how much we love the East Side of Cleveland,” Travis continued. “I’m not gonna lie, situation’s pretty good in Kansas City.”

“I’m gonna keep my fingers crossed and there is no decision that needs to be made now,” MGK replied. “But just know my offer is real and it’s on the table.”

To recap, MGK’s offer included $500K in cash, huge donations to two local high schools, and breakfast and coffee delivery each morning. He also offered to make beats in the Browns’ locker room every day.

It’s quite the proposal, and Travis did say playing for the Browns was a childhood dream of his. But as Travis also mentioned, he’s already in a great situation.

The eight-time Pro Bowler plays with an all-time great quarterback on a perennial contender that’s been to three of the last four Super Bowls, winning two of them. Travis, who turned 34 in October, is also under contract with Kansas City for two more seasons beyond this one after inking a four-year, $57.25 million extension back in 2020.

So, despite MGK’s best efforts to lure Travis back to his hometown, Chiefs fans probably don’t need to worry about losing the star tight end.

“Chiefs Kingdom, you know I love playing for the Kingdom, baby,” Travis said after hanging up with MGK. “I don’t think I’ll ever play anywhere else.”

Travis Kelce's old tweets are resurfacing online, and some Swifties are here for it https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/travis-kelces-old-tweets-are-resurfacing-online-and-some-swifties-are-here-for-it/3280621/ 3280621 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/11/GettyImages-1712309889.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,200 Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s viral public relationship has captivated the internet. Now, so have some of Kelce’s old tweets.

On Wednesday, several of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s social media posts dating to 2010 recirculated on X (the platform formerly known as Twitter), where many of Swift’s fans appeared genuinely amused.

Many online appeared enthralled by Kelce’s early internet humor and spelling errors. Some of his old musings became memes.

Among the many viral re-shares was a 2011 post in which Kelce observed a squirrel’s behavior after having given it a piece of bread. He spelled both “squirrel” and “piece” incorrectly.

“I just gave a squirle a peice of bread and it straight smashed all of it!!!! I had no idea they ate bread like that!! Haha #crazy,” he said in the tweet.

A Taylor Swift fan account juxtaposed Kelce’s 2011 commentary with Swift’s lyrics from the extended re-recording of her 2012 song “All Too Well.”

Travis Kelce joins brother Jason in iconic duet for “A Philly Special Christmas Special” album https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/sports/nfl/travis-kelce-joins-brother-jason-iconic-duet-a-philly-special-christmas-special-album/3278783/ 3278783 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/11/thumbnails-1.png?fit=300,169&quality=85&strip=all T-minus 16 days until the next hit holiday album “A Philly Special Christmas Special” is released to the world.

While anticipation has been building with every passing day, the singles (and content) we’ve been getting in the meantime have been oh so good.

So far, we’ve gotten the classic “All I want for Christmas is you” cover with Philadelphia Eagles linemen Jason Kelce, Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata — which became an instant classic.

Next, Mailata and special guest Patti LaBelle collaborated on “This Christmas” — which is Grammy worthy, honestly.

And now, we have been gifted “Fairytale of Philadelphia” with the Kelce brothers. That’s right, Travis has made his way to the Christmas album … and just in time for Eagles-Chiefs week.

The song is a play off The Pogues’ “Fairytale of New York” with the lyrics being personalized to Philly.

Truly, there may not be a better verse of music on this album than this:

Youse a lush, you’re a crumbum, you smell like some old scum
Washed up from the Schuylkill and rotting away

You dirtbag, you phony, ya lousy jabroni

Happy Christmas, you a**, I pray God it’s our last

An instant classic. Pure poetry.

The duo had discussed Travis making his singing debut in a recent episode of the New Heights podcast:

An animated teaser for the song was also released. It’s pure gold. It features the Kelce brothers singing … and commentary from Johnson and Mailata from the wings of the stage:

It’s safe to say this song will be added right after Taylor Swift’s “Christmas Tree Farm” on my holiday playlist for absolutely no particular reason whatsoever.

The album is set to be released on December 1. You can pre-order it here.

Proceeds from “A Philly Special Christmas Special”  will benefit the Children’s Crisis Treatment Center and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Travis Kelce was asked if he's ‘in love' with Taylor Swift. Watch his response https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/sports/nfl/travis-kelce-was-asked-if-hes-in-love-with-taylor-swift-watch-his-response/3269212/ 3269212 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/11/GettyImages-1738323608-e1699053861218.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,248 Is it a love story?

The Kansas City Chiefs are in Germany ahead of Sunday’s showdown with the Miami Dolphins. But tight end Travis Kelce still couldn’t escape questions about his rumored romance with Taylor Swift.

At a press conference featuring multiple Chiefs players on Friday, Kelce was asked about the “latest status” of his relationship with Swift.

“The latest status is I got to see her last week,” Kelce replied. “That’s the latest status right there.”

The two-time Super Bowl champion was then asked a follow-up of whether he’s “in love” with the 12-time Grammy winner.

“I’m gonna keep my personal relationship personal,” he answered.

Speculation of a romance between the two began when Swift attended the Chiefs’ home game against the Chicago Bears on Sept. 24 and sat in the same suite as Kelce’s mother, Donna. After the game, Kelce and Swift were spotted leaving Arrowhead Stadium together.

Swift has since attended three more Chiefs games, most recently taking in Kansas City’s home victory over the Los Angeles Chargers on Oct. 22 alongside Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Kelce and Swift also both made surprise cameos on the Oct. 14 season debut of “Saturday Night Live” before attending the show’s after-party together. They then stepped out for dinner in New York City the following night.

Kelce wouldn’t say whether Swift will be at Sunday’s international NFL game.

“I think when I mention her and everybody knows she’s at the game, the Vegas over/under on my catches goes up and down, the spread goes up and down,” Kelce quipped. “I don’t want to mess with any of that stuff so I’m just gonna keep it to myself.”

The eight-time Pro Bowler has performed better statistically when Swift is in the crowd compared to when she’s not. With Swift in attendance, Kelce has averaged 108 yards over four games. In the three contests she hasn’t been at, he’s averaged 50.3 yards.

Swift’s “Eras Tour” is set to resume in Argentina on Thursday, which has left some doubt over whether she will be at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt to cheer on Kelce.

Travis Kelce's ex Kayla Nicole reveals why she unfollowed the Mahomes https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/national-international/travis-kelces-ex-kayla-nicole-reveals-why-she-unfollowed-the-mahomes/3261908/ 3261908 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/10/GettyImages-1514589032.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,200 Originally appeared on E! Online

Kayla Nicole is ready to tackle that Instagram drama.

After making headlines earlier this month for unfollowing Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes, the 31-year-old, who previously dated his teammate Travis Kelce, spoke out about the social media move.

“I do think it’s important to publicly address this because I did publicly unfollow people,” Nicole told People in an interview published Oct. 25. “The reality is I know these people in real life. And so, in real life, I’ve communicated to these people why I’ve had to publicly make the decisions that I made.”

According to the magazine, Kelce—who’s recently been sparking romance rumors with Taylor Swift—and Nicole broke up in May 2022 after five years of dating. During her time with the Chiefs tight end, the Tribe Therepe founder formed a friendship with Brittany Mahomes. In fact, she even attended the former soccer player’s bridal and baby showers, and they would be seen cheering on the Chiefs together.

Inside Taylor Swift’s 2023 Squad

However, over the past few weeks, Brittany Mahomes has been spotted hanging out and cheering on the team with Swift. Fans even got a glimpse at the duo’s handshake earlier this week.

And Nicole admits it hasn’t been an easy time.

“To everyone it’s like, ‘Oh, you broke up a year ago,’ and that meant it’s like a light switch, you turn it on and off and everything goes dead and black and you don’t ever speak to anyone ever again. That’s not reality,” she noted to the outlet. “I have ongoing relationships with all parties involved.”

Still, she added that she’s talked to Brittany privately and that, “She knows that I love her.”

“That’s a lot of history and friendship there, that doesn’t change overnight,” Nicole continued. “But publicly, because things are happening so quickly and so publicly, I have to protect myself. That’s really all that is. The love is still there.”

And fans are loving the glimpses they’ve gotten into Kelce and Swift’s outings since the NFL star decided to shoot his shot with the Grammy winner after attending her Eras Tour this summer. As followers know all too well, these have included them grabbing dinner in New York, appearing on Saturday Night Live and at its after-party, and her cheering him on with his mom Donna Kelce and dad Ed Kelce at games.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's NYC takeover continues with dinner date https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/taylor-swift-and-travis-kelces-nyc-takeover-continues-with-dinner-date/3251790/ 3251790 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/10/GettyImages-1738318801.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,214 This article originally appeared on E! Ain’t it funny? Rumors fly.

And I know you heard about those romance rumors regarding Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. Well, the “Blank Space” singer, 33, and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, continued to fuel dating speculation after their recent dinner.

Swift and Kelce were spotted walking hand in hand outside of the Waverly Inn restaurant in New York on Oct. 15. For their outing, the 12-time Grammy winner wore a semi-sheer, floral top by Jean Paul Gaultier along with a black mini skirt and coordinating shoes. Meanwhile, the athlete sported a beige jacket and matching pants along with a black T-shirt and white Nike sneakers.

The sighting occurred less than 24 hours after Swift and Kelce made cameos on the Oct. 14 episode of “Saturday Night Live,” with her introducing the musical guest Ice Spice and him appearing in a skit about all the T.Swift coverage during NFL broadcasts since she started attending his games this season.

After the show, the duo went to the SNL after-party at the restaurant Catch and were again seen holding hands. For the party, Swift wore a gray coat over an all-black ensemble and finished her look with matching heels, a coordinating bag, a gold chain and her signature red lip. As for Kelce, he donned what appeared to be a neutral Jil Sander jacket with a bird design along with a pair of brown pants and white sneakers.

And while Kelce — who decided to shoot his shot with Swift after attending her Eras Tour concert — has noted he’s trying to protect their privacy, he also understands that it’s hard to shake off the excitement.

“We’re learning with the paparazzi just taking photos from all over the place,” he shared during a postgame press conference on Oct. 6. “At the same time, you know it comes with it. You’ve got a lot of people that care about Taylor, and for good reason. So, just got to keep living and learning and enjoying the moments. At the end of the day, I’ve always been pretty good about compartmentalizing and being able to stay focused in this building. I’ll just keep rolling with that.”

How Travis Kelce's mom Donna is shaking off ‘haters' over Taylor Swift https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/how-travis-kelces-mom-donna-is-shaking-off-haters-over-taylor-swift/3243987/ 3243987 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/09/GettyImages-1700723409.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,200 Originally appeared on E! Donna Kelce has entered a territory that she does not know all too well.

As romance rumors surrounding her son Travis Kelce and pop superstar Taylor Swift continue to swirl, the 70-year-old has been thrust into the public spotlight and become arguably one of the most talked-about matriarchs in recent weeks. While Donna Kelce — who is also mom to Philadelphia EaglesJason Kelce — has been a beloved figured in the NFL community for years, never in her wildest dreams would she have imagined that Swift’s multiple appearances at Travis Kelce’s games would cause such a buzz.

“I feel like I’m in an alternate universe,” she admitted in the upcoming Oct. 6 episode of “Got It From My Momma” podcast, per Entertainment Tonight, “because it’s something that I’ve never been involved with ever before.”

Fortunately, Donna Kelce is a bit of a Swiftie herself. As she noted, her favorite song from the Grammy winner is “probably ‘Shake It Off.'”

Why? “We’re getting a lot of that lately,” she quipped, “about haters.”

Taylor Swift Brings Her Squad to Travis Kelce’s NFL Game

And it seems Donna Kelce and Swift have gotten quite close in recent weeks as well. After watching Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Chicago Bears in a shared suite on Sept. 24, the two reconnected at the Missouri team’s Oct. 1 match-up against the New York Jets.

At one point during the Chiefs’ latest game, held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, Swift was seen sharing a hug with Donna Kelce inside their luxury box in between plays.

Donna Kelce also had the most fearless response when it came to Swift’s “seemingly ranch” meme, which spawned from a photo of the singer eating chicken fingers with two types of dipping sauces at a Chiefs game. Recently, the mom of two posted a photo of herself enjoying a basket of chicken tenders with ketchup, joking on her Instagram Stories, “No ‘Seemingly Ranch’ Here.”

Too much Taylor? Travis Kelce says NFL TV coverage is ‘overdoing it' with Swift during games https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/national-international/too-much-taylor-travis-kelce-says-nfl-tv-coverage-is-overdoing-it-with-swift-during-games/3243083/ 3243083 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/10/image-18-1.png?fit=300,169&quality=85&strip=all Maybe there’s too much Taylor, not enough Travis.

Travis Kelce agreed Wednesday with the idea that NFL TV coverage has been “overdoing it” with the amount of times Taylor Swift has been on screen while attending his Kansas City Chiefs’ games the last two weeks.

Swift was in a suite Sunday night at MetLife Stadium for the Chiefs’ victory over the New York Jets in prime time. Jason Kelce, who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles, told his brother during their “ New Heights ” podcast that cameras showed live shots of the suite no fewer than 17 times during the game.

“Damn, that’s crazy,” Travis Kelce said. “That’s like once a drive.”

Travis did say that it’s fun when the cameras show which famous people are at a game. Swift was in the suite with actors Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively and Hugh Jackman.

“But at the same time, I think they’re overdoing it a little bit for sure, especially my situation,” Travis added.

Ian Trombetta, the NFL’s senior vice president of social, influencer and content marketing, said in an interview with The Associated Press that the league wants to “make sure we remain in a celebratory sort of posture and position, and one that we don’t want to over-commercialize, in a way.”

Trombetta noted that “there’s always chatter around different celebrities and so on that are attending different games, but this took a life of its own, and I think a big part of it has to do with just the high level of interest in Taylor and what’s going on with her personal life, as well as Travis.”

Jason Kelce said he believes the NFL just isn’t used to having as many celebrities at games. He said it’s more common at NBA games, where they show the A-listers a couple of times but then stick to the game.

That hasn’t been the case the last two Sundays when the Chiefs were playing with their Grammy-winning fan in attendance.

“I’ll tell you what though, you never know, you could get caught throwing a big ol’ cheeseburger in and you look like an idiot, you know what I mean?” Travis Kelce said on the podcast. “There’s certain things, you don’t want to be on TV at all times.”

12-foot Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce skeletons fill a blank space in Indiana yard: ‘We're big fans' https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/12-foot-taylor-swift-and-travis-kelce-skeletons-fill-a-blank-space-in-indiana-yard-were-big-fans/3241687/ 3241687 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/10/image-1-1.png?fit=300,169&quality=85&strip=all After a cruel summer, Swifties in Indiana are preparing for fall with a Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce (Skeleton Version) Halloween display.

Michal Owens is known to create elaborate Halloween yard displays outside her Zionsville home. This year, she decided she couldn’t shake off the chance to commemorate Swift mania with a tribute to the “Karma” singer in her lover era.

“I’m a big Swiftie, we’re big fans. Every year, we try to do something funny, kind of pop culture-related. So, this year, we figured what’s bigger than Taylor Swift?” Owens told NBC affiliate WTHR.

The display features two 12-foot-tall skeletons and three small skeletons holding a “Swift 2024” flag.

The larger-than-life “Sk-aylor Swift” skeleton is decorated in a blond wig with bangs and a bejeweled blue dress, a nod to Swift’s album “1989,” known as the “blue album.” Swift is remaking each of her albums in an effort to own the master rights to all of her music. The “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” album remake is set to be released Oct. 27.

The Kelce skeleton is wearing a homemade Kansas City Chiefs jersey and donning a mustache.

Owens said the original plan was to just feature Swift in a dress with a “Swift 2024” flag.

“I kind of had a feeling I was going to end up making a Travis Kelce jersey, but I waited. After it blew up, I knew I had to make it,” Owens said.

Owens’ display has attracted visitors from the community and beyond.

“We’re on a busy road, and so we’ve had a lot of honking and slowing down. We try to tell people to pull in the [driveway] to get a picture because we don’t want anyone to cause a traffic issue,” Owens said.

While the pop star and NFL player have yet to confirm they are dating, Swift and Kelce’s potential romance was first rumored after the two-time Super Bowl champion said he attempted to give Swift his phone number when her Eras Tour made a stop in Kansas City on July 7.

Swift was later spotted at Kelce’s game at Arrowhead Stadium Sept. 24. She then attended Kelce’s game against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.

In previous years, the Owens family Halloween displays included skeletons taking a selfie and skeletons participating in the viral milk carton challenge, WTHR reports.

Travis Kelce's mom weighs in on Taylor Swift's ‘seemingly ranch' meme https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/travis-kelces-mom-weighs-in-on-taylor-swifts-seemingly-ranch-meme/3241137/ 3241137 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/10/GettyImages-1701286494.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,200 Originally appeared on E! Even Travis Kelce‘s mom can’t calm down over Taylor Swift’s “seemingly ranch” meme.

Long story short: A photo of the pop star eating chicken tenders at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Sept. 24 game recently went viral when a fansite comically described her choice of dipping sauces as “ketchup and seemingly ranch.” The amusing caption spawned numerous memes online, with Heinz hilariously announcing plans to release a limited edition version of the condiment.

So, when Donna Kelce was photographed with her own plate of stadium snacks at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field on Oct. 1, the matriarch couldn’t help but to give a nod to the meme. Sharing a photo of herself supporting son Jason Kelce at the Philadelphia Eagles game while enjoying basket of chicken fingers and ketchup, Donna wrote on Instagram Stories, “No ‘Seemingly Ranch’ Here at the Linc.”

Jake From State Farm actor Kevin Miles, who was pictured sharing snacks with Donna Kelce, captioned the photo on X (formerly known as Twitter) with another Taylor reference: “In my red era with Mama MaAuto.”

Meanwhile, Jason Kelce seemingly poked fun at his brother’s rumored romance with Swift, sharing Donna Kelce and Jake’s snap with the caption, “I also have a superstar in my corner.”

Later that day, Donna Kelce joined Swift herself at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium to watch son Travis Kelce and the Chiefs take on the New York Jets. As seen in a video posted on NBC’s Sunday Night Football social media accounts, the “Lavender Haze” singer gave Donna Kelce a tight hug as the two exchanged words in between plays.

While Travis Kelce has not publicly spoken out about Swift’s latest appearance at the Chiefs’ game, he did like a post from Newsweek on X that read: “Taylor Swift attended rumored boyfriend Travis Kelce’s NFL game with some very famous guests.”

And previously, the 33-year-old had nothing but kind words about the Grammy winner, 33, watching him play at Arrowhead Stadium for the Sept. 24 game. “She looked amazing,” he raved during the Sept. 27 episode of his “New Heights” podcast. “To see the slow motion chest bumps, to see the high-fives with mom, to see how Chiefs kingdom was all excited that she was there—that s–t was absolutely hysterical.”

He added at the time, “It was definitely a game I will remember, that’s for damn sure.”

Watch Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce leave stadium – separately – after Chiefs win over Jets https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/watch-taylor-swift-travis-kelce-leave-stadium-separately-after-chiefs-win-over-jets/3240353/ 3240353 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/10/26051125478-1080pnbcstations.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce didn’t get into a convertible and drive off into the night after this week’s game.

The two left MetLife Stadium separately after the Kansas City Chiefs’ 23-20 win over the New York Jets, with Kelce likely heading back to Missouri aboard the team’s flight.

After the game, Kelce, Swift, and the celebrity entourage she arrived with that included Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Sophie Turner and others, all exited the stadium at different times.

Kelce was first to depart, boarding the Kansas City team bus.

Reynolds and Lively left shortly after, but not before saying goodbye to Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Swift was the last of the group to leave, interlocking arms with Turner on her way out. They walked past camera-wielding sports reporters turned paparazzi on their way to an SUV that had backed into the stadium. The vehicle then departed with a police escort.

It was the second straight week that Swift attended the Chiefs’ game amid romance rumors with Kelce, improving to 2-0 as the team’s newest and most high-profile fan.

Swift has said she can make bad guys good for a weekend. Maybe that also applies to quarterbacks?

Jets quarterback Zach Wilson, who had been quite bad over the first three weeks of the season, actually played good at times Sunday with the 12-time Grammy winner in attendance.

That helped keep the game against the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs much closer than anticipated. But Swift was able to celebrate another win after Wilson fumbled a snap in the fourth quarter, leading to a 23-20 Kansas City victory.

The group, along with Kelce’s mother Donna, enjoyed the game from a 50-yard-line luxury suite that belongs to New York Giants owner John Mara.

Swift’s “Welcome to New Jersey” football remix capped a week of increased gossip and headlines about her and Kelce.

After Swift’s appearance at last week’s game in Kansas City between the Chiefs and Bears, Kelce’s jerseys began flying off the shelves, seeing a 400% increase on Sunday following Swift’s appearance at the game. The price of tickets on the secondary market for the Chiefs-Jets game then increased amid rumors Swift might make the short trip from her Manhattan home to attend.

Attend she did, cheering with Lively during Isiah Pacheco’s 48-yard touchdown run in the first quarter that gave the Chiefs a 10-0 lead.

Kelce had a somewhat quiet night by his standards, finishing with six catches for 60 yards. Unlike last week, he did not catch a touchdown pass for Swift to celebrate.

Perhaps he can shake it off next Sunday if Swift attends the Chiefs’ game against the Vikings in Minnesota.

Taylor Swift attends Chiefs-Jets with group of A-list celebrities https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/taylor-swift-attends-chiefs-jets-with-group-of-a-list-celebrities/3240247/ 3240247 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/10/web-231001-taylor-swift-ryan-reynolds-getty-2.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Taylor Swift’s stadium tour has reached its next stop.

But these days, she’s a spectator, not a performer. She’s traveling the country for football games, not concerts. And she’s hoping it’s the beginning of her latest love story, not her next mistake.

The newest and most high-profile Kansas City Chiefs fan was in attendance for the team’s game against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, one week after appearing at Arrowhead Stadium to watch her rumored love interest Travis Kelce.

This time, she brought some celebrity friends. And a portion of her loyal army of Swifites also followed her.

Swift arrived shortly before kick off along with Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman and others.

Swift and her group reportedly are sitting in a luxury suite at the 50-yard line that belongs to New York Giants owner John Mara.

Swift and Lively were spotted celebrating Isiah Pacheco’s 48-yard touchdown run in the first quarter that gave the Chiefs a 10-0 lead.

Kelce’s mother Donna traveled from the Philadelphia Eagles afternoon home game, where her son Jason played in a 34-31 overtime win over the Washington Commanders, to New Jersey to watch her other son’s game with Swift and company.

Last week, Swift sat in a suite with Kelce’s mother Donna and cheered Kelce’s touchdown, instantly becoming the team’s top celebrity fan. Sorry, Paul Rudd.

Swift’s attendance at last Sunday’s Chiefs’ home game against the Chicago Bears all but confirmed the romance between her and Kelce, becoming the top storyline of the early NFL season.

Swift and Kelce left the stadium together after the game in a convertible.

“The slow-motion chest bumps, the high-fives with mom, it was definitely a game I will remember, that’s for damn sure,” Kelce said on his “New Heights” podcast that he co-hosts with his brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce. “Then we just slid off in the getaway car at the end.”

Their first public appearance fueled speculation, headlines and profits.

Kelce’s jerseys began flying off the shelves, seeing a 400% increase on Sunday following Swift’s appearance at the game. The price of tickets on the secondary market for the Chiefs-Jets game increased amid rumors Swift might make the short trip from her Manhattan home to attend. Swift fans flooded Kansas City businesses that the 12-time Grammy winner was rumored to have stopped at.

NBC even released a promo for the Sunday Night Football matchup between the Chiefs and Jets using Taylor Swift’s song “Welcome to New York.”

She then received a New York welcome. Now it’s onto the next stop.

Swift’s sold-out tour doesn’t resume until Oct. 18. But if Swift and Kelce’s “Can-I-go-where-you-go?” stage of their relationship continues, her next stadium appearance could be in Minnesota next Sunday for the Chiefs game.

Taylor Swift spotted out with Brittany Mahomes, Sophie Turner and more https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/taylor-swift-spotted-out-with-brittany-mahomes-sophie-turner-and-more/3240223/ 3240223 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/10/GettyImages-1710522932-e1696201305782.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,189 Originally appeared on E! The Travis Kelce effect is real—Brittany Mahomes just joined Taylor Swift‘s squad on a girls’ night out.

The wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was photographed out to a group dinner in New York City with the “Blank Space” singer, who has recently been spending time with Kelce, a star tight end for the team, and her pals Blake Lively, Sophie Turner and longtime backup singer Melanie Nyema.

The group dined at the Italian restaurant Emilio’s Ballato in New York City Sept. 30, one day before the Chiefs play the New York Jets at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey. The same day, Kelce was photographed elsewhere in Manhattan.

On Sept. 24, more than two months after he famously attempted to shoot his shot with Taylor, the pop star made her first appearance at a Chiefs game, cheering on Kelce along with his mom Donna Kelce in a luxury suite at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo.

She looked amazing,” the athlete later said about the pop star on the Sept. 27 episode of his and brother Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast. “Everybody was talking about her in [a] great light…to see the slow motion chest bumps, to see the high-fives with mom, to see how Chiefs kingdom was all excited that she was there. That s— was absolutely hysterical. It was definitely a game I will remember, that’s for damn sure.”

After the game, Swift and Travis Kelce left the stadium together and joined his family, friends and other Chiefs players, including Patrick Mahomes, and their associates at an after-party. There, Swift was spotted with her arm draped around Travis Kelce’s neck while chatting with guests.

Patrick Mahomes later praised the “Love Story” singer at a Sept. 27 press conference, calling her, “really cool, good people.”

What you need to know about Travis Kelce and his romantic history https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/what-you-need-to-know-about-travis-kelce-and-his-romantic-history/3239894/ 3239894 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/09/GettyImages-1700723409.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,200 Originally appeared on E! Where were you when you first found out Taylor Swift was sitting with Travis Kelce‘s mom at the Kansas City Chiefs game on Sept. 24?

Because when it comes to capital-M Moments, there is a before and there is an after, and the era of Kelce shooting his shot with Swift is now upon us.

This is still very early stages, of course, with a color-coordinated outfit (loving him would be red and gold), a ride in a Chevelle and a cozy draped arm doing a lot of heavy lifting in the potential-romance department. But if it was all leading up to this, we are ready for it.

And naturally, the Swifties brought receipts.

For instance, Swift’s “Cornelia Street,” off of 2019’s Lover: “We were a fresh page on the desk / Filling in the blanks as we go / As if the street lights pointed in an arrowhead / Leading us home.” The track was inspired by then-boyfriend Joe Alwyn (hence the pilgrimages to that New York address after their breakup) but it’s now nothing less than psychic sorcery because the Chiefs play at Arrowhead Stadium and that’s where Swift dipped chicken tenders into “seemingly ranch.”

Before your mind gets too boggled, though, remember that it’s Kelce who’s been doing the more blatant manifesting on his end.

While he only recently revealed his thwarted plan to give Swift a friendship bracelet sporting his number when he attended her Eras Tour in Kansas City, he picked her as his kiss recipient all the way back in 2016 when the “Kiss, Marry, Kill” question was posed to him by AfterBuzzTV. At the time, he was looking for Ms. Right on E!’s Catching Kelce and was barely three years into what is now his two-time Super Bowl-winning, “Saturday Night Live”-hosting career.

The 33-year-old tight end has been busily building his resume since then, on and off the field. And we’re only cryptic and Machiavellian ’cause we care. So to distinguish folklore from truth, here’s a handy guide to who Travis Kelce is and what he’s been up to before touching down at the center of the Swiftie universe:

He’s a Family Man

Nothing beats the playful but protective bond between Travis Kelce and his big brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce. Mom Donna Kelce and dad Ed Kelce are long divorced but the whole family is close and the parents systematically “divide and conquer,” Ed told the Los Angeles Times, so at least one of them is at each of their sons’ games.

Travis Kelce is also the “perfect uncle,” according to Jason Kelce, 35, who shares daughters Wyatt, turning 4 on Oct. 2, Elliotte, 2, and Bennett, 7 months, with his wife of five years, Kylie Kelce.

“My daughters, they’re so drawn to him immediately—partly because he’s gorgeous,” Jason Kelce quipped to E! News at the premiere of the Prime Video documentary “Kelce,” “but then also he’s just a fun human being. He’s exciting. He has energy for days.”

Though Travis Kelce’s eldest niece might still need some convincing. In an adorable video Jason Kelce shared, Wyatt Kelce heatedly informs her uncle he is not allowed to have pink hair because, she tells him emphatically, “You’re naughty and you’re sneaky!” Sigh, but at least Travis Kelce may be able to win over Bennett, the moment he first held her captured for posterity in “Kelce.”

Travis Learned From His Timeouts

Travis Kelce has cited two “humbling” experiences from his past that made him realize there were more important things than just having a good time.

Growing up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, Travis Kelce was booted from his high school football team after failing French, so he missed playing with Jason Kelce during his brother’s senior year. And “even more embarrassing, when it means more,” Travis Kelce recalled on the Jan. 10 episode of “The Pivot” podcast, the same thing happened at the University of Cincinnati when he was suspended for the entire 2010 season after testing positive for marijuana.

He felt like he’d embarrassed not just his family, but the whole community who’d supported him, he explained. So when it was time to work his way back onto the team (and switch from quarterback to tight end), “I had guidelines I had to go through,” he recalled, “and it created routine and structure in my life that I hadn’t taken serious up until that point. Once I found that routine, I began to use that in every aspect of my life.”

Jason Kelce Has His Brother’s Back

Travis Kelce made a triumphant return for the Bearcats and was named Tight End of the Year at the College Football Performance Awards after the 2012 season. But, despite thinking he’d be a high pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, he didn’t get the call until the third round.

Ultimately it was Jason Kelce who put in a good word with incoming Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, who’d worked with the elder Kelce brother on the Eagles and was willing to take a chance on the reputationally challenged Travis Kelce.

Knowing his sibling—who also let him move in when he lost his scholarship—vouched for him both in college and the NFL, Travis Kelce reflected to Vanity Fair this year, “I’m forever in debt to this guy for putting his name, our name, putting his honor on the line to get me another chance. When I say I owe it all to him, I really do.”

Though they can all laugh about it now, Travis Kelce joking in his “SNL” monologue, “Just goes to show you, if you’re bad at school and smoke weed, you can win the Super Bowl twice.”

He’s Got Big Post-Football Plans

Hosting “SNL” was a dream come true for Travis Kelce—who said at the very least he plans to play through his current contract, which ends in 2025—but he’s only getting started when it comes to the wider world of non-sports entertainment. In addition to hosting the “New Heights” podcast with Jason Kelce and keeping his comedic chops sharp in commercials for State Farm and Campbell’s Soup, he signed with Creative Artists Agency and has let it be known he’s up for… well, we shall see.

“I don’t know if what I want to do has really been done yet,” he told Vanity Fair.

Sports broadcasting could certainly be in his future, Travis Kelce noting, “I could sit there, talk football, and make it relatable. I could get into the scheme of things. I could make it make sense to the people who are just now getting into it. And I could bring the juice.”

The Kelces Aren’t Matchmakers

Suffice it to say, Travis Kelce has a lot of people invested in his long-term happiness, but they’ve stayed out of his private life. Unless they’re joking about it.

“Kylie infamously fell in love with me on Tinder, so maybe she can give you some tips,” Jason Kelce teased Travis Kelce on the Sept. 6 episode of “New Heights.” Asked if she preferred mustache or no ‘stache for his profile pic, Kylie Kelce advised her brother-in-law to keep his current facial hair, because “if they’d swipe right at your worst, then they’ll love you at your best.”

To which Travis Kelce replied, “That doesn’t even hurt my feelings, this is smart. It’s genius.”

Who Caught Kelce?

Travis Kelce’s “Catching Kelce” journey started with 50 potential love interests, one woman from each state. He dated his ultimate pick, Maya Benberry of Kentucky, for a few months.

“She’s an absolutely wonderful girl,” Travis Kelce told E! News of his then-secret girlfriend ahead of the series’ premiere in October 2016. It was tough having to keep the outcome a secret, he said, but “I wouldn’t have picked her if I didn’t feel a certain way about her.”

And yet he admitted he wasn’t in a rush for the end zone. “I have always been the just let it roll [type],” he explained, “and take advantage of the opportunities when they come about. I’ve always been a very success-driven person, too, so I’m very focused on trying to get my career somewhere. That and I’m still getting to know her and, to be honest, marriage is a huge step that it takes a while to get to know you’re ready for.”

Benberry said when all was revealed, “I just feel like the luckiest girl in the world. For that to be my man, and he’s really my man now, it’s just amazing that my dream guy is now mine!”

But the life coach and brand consultant isn’t exactly rooting for Travis Kelce these days, telling DailyMail.com after Taylor Swift’s cameo at his game, “Taylor seems like such a fun girl with a beautiful spirit so I wish her the best of luck but I wouldn’t be a girls’ girl if I didn’t advise her to be smart! I’m sure by now she has mastered the ability to see who is really there for her—and who is just using her.”

A Longer Run

Travis Kelce said recently on “New Heights” that “DMs can work every now and then” when it comes to meeting people, and he spoke from experience.

He made his presence known on influencer Kayla Nicole’s Instagram in 2017, liking her photos and clicking through her Instagram Story. “I didn’t just go through every single pic and just start liking it immediately,” he assured E! News in February 2022. But she noticed him noticing her, Travis Kelce continued, “and then finally on New Year’s, she gave in. And, you know, New Year, new me. She just shot her shot, jumped in my DMs and the rest is history.”

Nicole was Travis Kelce’s date to teammate Patrick Mahomes’ March 12, 2022, wedding in Hawaii, but their relationship ended later that year.

“I’m in the free market right now,” Travis Kelce said—regarding his personal life, because with pro athletes, one should specify—on “The Pivot” in January. “I’m out there just enjoying life, focused on my profession.”

A Swift Recovery

Which brings us to Sept. 24, 2023, the latest step in the previously one-sided dance Travis Kelce had been doing for months.

With the Travilor (you’re welcome) narrative already spiraling wildly out of hand, he said on “The Pat McAfee Show” Sept. 20 that he had invited Swift to come watch him play—seeing as he’d already watched her play.

“So, we’ll see what happens in the near future,” Travis Kelce said, adding that the ball was “in her court,” metaphors flying every which way.

Four days later, Swift—a professed Eagles fan—wore a Chiefs windbreaker and matching New Balance kicks and looked perfectly comfortable hanging out with Donna Kelce, so much so she uttered the “Let’s f—— go!” deciphered ’round the world. Her condiment of choice is being bottled and sold, and Monday-morning quarterbacks have already mapped out Swift and Kelce’s dueling schedules for the next six months.

So Is It Gonna Be Forever?

The pair were seen getting into Travis’ 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle convertible at the stadium after the game and literally driving into the sunset. Romeo didn’t take her somewhere they could be alone, but he saved a seat for her at the after-party.

Yet while you should definitely bet on the entire NFL’s pun returns to reach record highs this season, don’t expect to get much dirt from Team Kelce.

In a Sept. 20 radio interview, Jason Kelce said he thought the rumors Travis Kelce and Swift were dating were “100% true,” but he was 99% joking (“The guy is absolutely ridiculous,” Travis Kelce said on “The Pat McAfee Show,” “please everybody stop asking my brother!”). And Mahomes said after the Sept. 24 game that he wasn’t even sure if Travis Kelce was serious when he casually mentioned that Swift was going to be there.

“He told me at, like, the last minute,” the Chiefs quarterback told reporters. “There are some things with Trav where he kind of just says it and you don’t know if it’s true or not.”

A few days after it turned out to be true, Mahomes called Swift “really cool, good people,” speaking to reporters at the team facility. “But like Trav said, man, I’m going to let them have their privacy and just keep it moving.”

Chief Concerns

“Nobody does anything crazy to get my attention as far as guys,” Swift lamented in a 2012 Extra interview (thank you, TikTokers, for the resurrection). “Like, I can’t remember so I guess there hasn’t been anything. Which is good, so it’s easier, the bar is set really low for anyone I date in the future to come in and be, like, a great guy. I’ll be like, ‘Oh, you exist? This is so crazy!'”

Coincidentally, that’s what many Swifties had to say about Travis Kelce, the rumored coupling triggering a debate between those convinced that Kelce put the eight-time Pro Bowl pick on the map and those who pay attention to football.

But now we know what becomes of curious minds.

During the “No Dumb Questions” segment of the Sept. 27 episode of “New Heights,” which currently has 2 million views on YouTube, Jason and Travis Kelce received a few more rudimentary inquiries than usual, such as “What’s a field goal?” from @ISaidSpeakNow and, per @TheMadWomanIsMe, “Do you throw the ball or run with it?”

“I did this to myself, Jason,” Travis Kelce acknowledged, referring to allll of it, from the paparazzi outside his house to the slo-mo replays of the action inside the visitors’ suite. “I know this.”

Even Donald Trump weighs in on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's rumored relationship https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/national-international/even-donald-trump-weighs-in-on-taylor-swift-and-travis-kelces-rumored-relationship/3239705/ 3239705 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/09/image-16-1.png?fit=300,169&quality=85&strip=all It appears everyone has Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce on the brain, including Donald Trump.

As interest grows for the rumored couple, even Trump weighed in on the situationship that is brewing between the pop star and NFL pro. The former president was asked his opinion about the pair during an interview with Daily Caller on Sept. 29.

“I wish the best for both of them. I hope they enjoy their life, maybe together, maybe not — most likely not,” Trump said.

Whether you’re emotionally invested in Swift and Kelce or not, there is no denying that attention around the pair is making headlines left and right.

Even Steve Kornacki broke down the Swelce/Traylor/Tayvis stats during the 3rd Hour of TODAY on Sept. 29. Both born in 1989, the two stars have impressive career stats, with Kelce winning two Super Bowls and Swift a 12-time Grammy Award winner. “It’s quite a match,” he said during “Kickoff With Kornacki.”

Then there’s TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie’s daughter, Vale, who told her that Kelce “better not break” the singer’s heart. “My daughter said this morning, ‘If he breaks her heart, I’ll break him,’” she said on Thursday’s TODAY.

“Sunday Night Football,” when Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs take on the New York Jets, has turned into a can’t-miss event as the “Welcome to New York” singer is expected to attend and cheer on the tight end, two sources confirmed to NBC News.

A source told TODAY that Swift and Kelce hung out in New York more than a month ago and “are just getting to know each other.”

After Kelce shared that he attempted to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number, he then invited her to one of his games, saying “I threw the ball in her court,” during ESPN’s “The Pat McAfee Show.”

And she accepted, cheering him on during his Sept. 24 game alongside his mom, Donna Kelce. They were spotted hanging out together after the game and driving away together.

“To see the slow-motion chest bumps, to see the high fives with mom, to see how Cheese Kingdom was all excited that she was there, that s— was absolutely hysterical,” Travis Kelce said during his “New Heights” podcast with brother Jason Kelce. “It was definitely a game I’ll remember, that’s for damn sure.”

After Swift’s appearance at the game, ticket sales for Chiefs home games tripled in a 24 hour window, according to StubHub data. They sold more seats in one day than they have since the start of the season.

While Swift may appear at more games, Travis Kelce says he will try to keep talk of his relationship with the singer to a minimum.

“What’s real is that it’s my personal life, and I want to respect both of our lives. She’s not in the media as much as I am,” he said on his podcast. “So everything moving forward, I think me talking about sports and saying, ‘All right now,’ would have to be kind of where I keep it.”

Potential Taylor Swift appearance at Sunday's Chiefs-Jets game causes ticket price increase https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/potential-taylor-swift-appearance-at-sundays-chiefs-jets-game-causes-ticket-price-increase/3238772/ 3238772 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/09/GettyImages-1700208112-e1695955663694.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,200 Taylor Swift once again is filling stadiums.

No, her sold-out The Eras Tour doesn’t resume until mid-October, but she’s now putting Swifties in the seats at football games.

Swift attended the Kansas City Chiefs game on Sunday, causing rumors of her potential relationship with the Super Bowl champions’ star tight end Travis Kelce to become the main NFL storyline of the week. There is now speculation that the 12-time Grammy winner will attend this week’s Sunday Night Football game between the Chiefs and New York Jets at MetLife Stadium, which is not far from Swift’s Manhattan residence.

That has led to a spike in prices on the secondary market for a ticket that most embattled Jets fans would be more than willing to unload at a premium rate to a Swiftie in a Kelce jersey.

SeatGeek told NBC on Thursday that one day after Swift attended the Chiefs game, there was a 26% increase in the average resale ticket price for the Chiefs-Jets game, from $168 on Sunday to $212 on Monday. Demand has steadily increased each day since, reaching an average price of $245 on Wednesday when reports of Swift planning to attend Sunday’s game began to circulate.

Nearly 20 percent of all tickets sold on StubHub for the Chiefs-Jets matchup have been purchased since Sunday night, the company told NBC. With a 175% jump in sales rate on in the three days since Swift’s appearance at the Chiefs game, the matchup against the Jets has become the second-highest selling game of the weekend on StubHub behind only the Dallas Cowboys-New England Patriots matchup.

Average price of tickets sold on StubHub since Sunday have remained steady at $246.

As of Thursday night, the least expensive pair of seats were $111 per ticket plus fees on SeatGeek and $113 per ticket plus fees on StubHub, providing a much cheaper alternative to those Swift fans who couldn’t afford her concert prices and are desperate to potentially be in the same stadium as her.

Also expect a fair amount of red No. 87 jerseys in the stands because the romance rumors also caused a surge in the sale of Kelce jerseys, which increased by 400% on Sunday, per sports apparel and fan gear company Fanatics.

Kelce’s pursuit of Swift began over the summer when he attended her concert and attempted to give her his phone number on one of her trademark friendship bracelets.

Swift sat in a suite with Kelce’s mother Donna at last week’s game, cheering when the two-time Super Bowl champion caught a touchdown pass. Swift and Kelce then left the stadium together after the game.

Couple who dressed up as Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce for Halloween 2020 goes viral https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/sports/nfl/couple-who-dressed-up-as-taylor-swift-and-travis-kelce-for-halloween-2020-goes-viral/3238709/ 3238709 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/09/image-9-5.png?fit=300,169&quality=85&strip=all Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s rumored romance may come as a surprise to some. But one couple seemingly predicted it years in advance.

Back in 2020, Instagram user “_makaylastephens_” dressed up as Taylor Swift for Halloween, while her husband went as, you guessed it, Travis Kelce.

Their costumes were documented in an Instagram post from Oct. 30, 2020, with the caption: “I don’t know any world in which Taylor Swift + Travis Kelce would be in the same room together, but apparently in this one they’re married? #HappyHalloween

Fast forward nearly three years, the post of the once-random costume pairing has gone viral and left social media dumbfounded.

“YOU are the real mastermind,” read one comment made on the Instagram post Thursday.

“If i were you i’d never shut up about this,” another Instagram user wrote.

“Powerball numbers please,” commented another along with a laughing emoji.

They have to break out those costumes again this year, right?

Mark Cuban pitches ‘good-looking, single' Dallas Mavericks players to Taylor Swift https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/national-international/mark-cuban-pitches-good-looking-single-mavs-players-to-taylor-swift-kelce-asks-for-contract/3239363/ 3239363 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/09/GettyImages-1469061968.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban jumped headfirst into the ongoing social discourse around Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Thursday by playfully telling her to break up with the NFL star and date a member of his basketball team.

On ESPN’s First Take, Cuban said, “Taylor, if you’re listening, sorry Travis. Break up with him, I got a bunch of good-looking single guys that play for the Dallas Mavericks. I gotchu, I gotchu.”

After Cuban’s declaration, host Stephen A. Smith rolled his eyes and said, “Oh, my Lord.”

A short clip from the show was shared on X Thursday morning but didn’t show the moments leading up to Cuban’s comment.

The international pop star is rumored to be dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce after she was in a suite with his mother at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday and after they appeared to leave together after the game.

Kelce was apparently made aware of Cuban’s remark and tweeted the entrepreneur asking to sign him to a 10-day contract. Cuban replied with three grinning face emojis.

So far, no response from any of Swift’s social media accounts.

Taylor Swift Watch is on for Sunday Night Football. Might she attend Chiefs-Jets game? https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/taylor-swift-watch-is-on-for-sunday-night-football-might-she-attend-chiefs-jets-game/3237862/ 3237862 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/09/web-230927-taylor-swift-getty.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Perhaps Taylor Swift loves the players and the game.

Swift seemed to enjoy herself while attending last Sunday’s Kansas City Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium amid romance rumors with the team’s star tight end Travis Kelce.

Kelce and the Chiefs will play the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium this week for Sunday Night Football on NBC. Might Swift, a Manhattan resident, watch Chiefs football in person for the second consecutive week?

NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported on Wednesday that Swift plans to be at the game to watch Kelce.

If true, Swifites will be looking for tickets for a chance to see Swift and her potential love interest from afar. And luckily for them, there are probably a lot of Jets fans who will be happy to sell to them.

Swift fans are believed to have caused a spike in the sale of Kelce jerseys following Sunday’s game. Per Fanatics, a sports apparel and fan gear company, Kelce became one of the league’s top-five selling jerseys after sales spiked nearly 400% on Sunday.

Rumors of a romance between the 12-time Grammy Award winner and two-time Super Bowl champion began over the summer when Kelce attended Swift’s concert in Kansas City and attempted to give her his phone number.

The two made their first public appearance together after Sunday’s game, though a relationship still has not been confirmed. Swift watched the game from a suite with Kelce’s mother Donna. She celebrated Kelce’s touchdown catch with a Swiftie-like exuberance, putting both arms in the air and appearing to shout, “Let’s f—— go!”

The pop star and Pro Bowler were then spotted after the game leaving the stadium together.

Expect many to be on Taylor Watch this Sunday.

Travis Kelce jersey sales increase nearly 400% after Taylor Swift attends Chiefs game https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/travis-kelce-jersey-sales-increase-400-after-taylor-swift-attends-chiefs-game-per-report/3236096/ 3236096 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/09/web-230925-taylor-swift-getty.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Swifties are buying jerseys.

With romance rumors circulating and a new love story possibly being written about Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, the pop star’s enormous and rabid fan base now has a new favorite football player. And many of them also might have a new football jersey.

While Swift attended the Chiefs’ game at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Sunday, there was a surge in the sale of Kelce’s No. 87 jersey.

“Yesterday, Travis Kelce was one of the top-five selling NFL players and saw a nearly 400% spike in sales throughout the Fanatics network of sites, including NFLShop.com,” a representative from sports apparel and fan gear company Fanatics, the NFL’s official e-commerce partner, told NBC on Monday.

No way of knowing for sure how many of those purchases were in fact made by Swifties. But Kelce has been in the NFL since 2013, and his jersey was not among the top-10 sellers as of August, per the league. He wasn’t even the most popular Kelce jersey, with his brother Jason of the Philadelphia Eagles outselling him.

But it seems like Taylor Swift is good for business.

Swift sat in a suite at Sunday’s game with Kelce’s mother Donna. The 12-time Grammy winner then celebrated Kelce’s touchdown catch with the exuberance of a Swiftie at one of her concerts. After the Chiefs’ 41-10 win over the Chicago Bears, Swift and Kelce were seen leaving the stadium together.

That near confirmation caused a spike in relationship speculation and jersey sales.

Patrick Mahomes ‘felt a little bit of pressure' for Travis Kelce to score with Taylor Swift watching https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/sports/nfl/patrick-mahomes-felt-a-little-bit-of-pressure-for-travis-kelce-to-score-with-taylor-swift-watching/3235594/ 3235594 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/09/230925-mahomes-kelce-getty.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Patrick Mahomes says Swifties got him on board to get Travis Kelce a touchdown at a Kansas City Chiefs game Taylor Swift recently attended — as if he had a choice.

“I heard she was in the house,” the quarterback said in response to a question about the pop star and his teammate in an on-field, postgame interview following Kansas City’s crushing 41-10 win over the Chicago Bears Sept. 24.

“I felt a little bit of pressure, and so I knew I had to get it to Trav,” Mahomes said.

The “Midnights” singer sat in a suite box next to Kelce’s mom, Donna Kelce. Both of them shared animated reactions throughout the game, including Swift banging on the glass at one point.

Kelce ran a short route to the end zone in the third quarter and caught a pass from Mahomes. Swift celebrated the touchdown. Her appearance marks the latest evidence that fans are using to fuel rumors that the two are dating. A source close to Swift told NBC News that the singer and Kelce are hanging out.

A representative for Swift did not immediately respond to NBC News’ request for comment.

Mahomes added that Kelce’s creativity with his route helped secure the touchdown, too.

“He does his own thing and just makes up a route, and I throw it to him,” Mahomes said. “I think he wanted to get in the end zone just as much as all the Swifties wanted him to.”

Fans still credit Swift for influencing Kelce’s touchdown.

“Taylor running football plays now, too,” someone shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Can’t believe taylor swift scored a touchdown,” another wrote, also writing: “Taylor swift is a great football coach.”

“He had to show out for Taylor,” another said.

In the postgame press conference, Mahomes complimented Swift on her success and said he hopes to meet her one day.

“She’s a pop star. She’s a tremendous singer, tremendous at everything she does. I haven’t gotten to meet her, but I guess if she ends up being with Travis, then I’ll probably meet her at some point. Seems like a good person, so hopefully I get to meet her one day,” he said.

Mahomes said Kelce told him a couple days before the game that Swift may come, but the quarterback didn’t think the superstar would actually show up.

“He told me at the last minute,” Mahomes said. “There’s some things with Trav where he kind of just says it, and you don’t know if it’s true or not. He says it so calmly.”

“He was just like, “Oh, yeah, I think she’s coming to the game … this weekend,’ and just moved about his business,” Mahomes described.

Kansas City’s head coach, Andy Reid, joked in his postgame press conference that he introduced the two.

“You know what — I’ve met her before,” he said.

“I set them up,” he added with a smile.

Swift and Kelce were seen leaving the game together and later shared a car ride in a convertible.

Watch Taylor Swift celebrate Travis Kelce's touchdown at Chiefs game https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/watch-taylor-swift-celebrate-travis-kelces-touchdown-at-chiefs-game/3235285/ 3235285 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/09/web-230924-taylor-swift-getty.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 If Taylor Swift’s fans are called Swifties, are Travis Kelce’s fans called…Kelces? Kelceies?

Whichever, Swift was certainly among them on Sunday, literally and figuratively. Amid romance rumors between the singer and star tight end, Swift attended the Kansas City Chiefs’ home game against the Chicago Bears, sitting in a suite with Kelce’s mother.

When Kelce caught a three-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes in the third quarter to give the Chiefs a 41-0 lead, Swift began celebrating like a Swiftie at a concert when the opening of “Cruel Summer” begins.

After Kelce’s touchdown catch, Swift stood up and put both of her arms in the air while screaming in celebration. She then appeared to shout, “Let’s f—— go!” and began clapping.

Rumors of a romance between the 12-time Grammy Award winner and two-time Super Bowl champion began over the summer when Kelce attended Swift’s concert in Kansas City and attempted to give her his phone number.

Her touchdown celebration will create more speculation among the Swifties and the Kelces…or Kelceies.

Taylor Swift enjoys Chiefs game from Arrowhead suite with Travis Kelce's mom https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/sports/nfl/taylor-swift-enjoys-chiefs-game-from-arrowhead-suite-with-travis-kelces-mom/3235254/ 3235254 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/09/230924-taylor-swift-chiefs-gett.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are in the early stages of their “Love Story.”

But their apparent relationship took a big step on Sunday, when the star singer attended the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears.

It wasn’t just that she was at Arrowhead Stadium, though — she sat in a suite with Donna Kelce, Travis’ mother.

The 12-time Grammy Award winner seemed to be enjoying her time, as she was seen laughing and joking with the famous NFL mom.

Speculation of Swift and Kelce romance dates back to the summer, when the star tight end enjoyed Swift’s concert in Kansas City — and apparently failed in his attempts to get her his phone number.

As the NFL season inched closer, Travis Kelce and his brother Jason spoke about the relationship on their podcast. The Philadelphia Eagles’ center later said he thought that the romance rumors were “100% true,” though the younger Kelce failed to confirm anything this week.

It’s unlikely that this will be the final twist in this high-profile relationship.

Odds Taylor Swift attends Bears vs. Chiefs game amid Travis Kelce dating rumors https://www.nbcsportschicago.com/nfl/chicago-bears/bears-news/odds-taylor-swift-attends-bears-vs-chiefs-game-amid-travis-kelce-dating-rumors/508141/ 3233052 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/09/web-230920-travis-kelce-taylor-swift-split.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Speculation that Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce is dating Taylor Swift has set the NFL world ablaze in recent weeks.

Neither party has commented on the rumors. Jason Kelce, on the other hand, seems to be having fun being caught in the crossfire.

After last week’s “Thursday Night Football” game, Jason told reporters he “couldn’t comment” on his younger brother’s situation. On Wednesday, however, the Eagles’ center gave a social media sound bite for the ages when he joked that the rumors about Travis were 100 percent true.

“It’s hard to answer because I don’t really know a lot about Travis’ love life,” he said during an appearance on SportsRadio 94WIP. “I try to keep his business kind of his business, stay out of that world. But having said that, I think he’s doing great and I think it’s all 100% true.”

Jason made it clear he was joking, but that didn’t stop some people from taking it seriously, especially after a report earlier this month said the two stars had been “quietly hanging out.”

The tight end opened up about his crush on the global popstar in the summer on an episode of his and Jason’s “New Heights” podcast, revealing he tried to give Swift his phone number while attending her concert at Arrowhead Stadium in July.

“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” he said. “So I was a little butt-hurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the [friendship] bracelets I made for her.”

Let’s pretend the romance rumors are true. With the Chicago Bears heading to Kansas City this Sunday to play the Chiefs, is there a shot the music industry’s crown jewel shows up to cheer on her man?

The answer no. Though the “Eras Tour” is currently on break, with shows resuming in November on the tour’s international leg, Swift is simply too famous. The singer couldn’t even attend a friend’s wedding rehearsal dinner in New Jersey last month without hundreds of fans swarming the streets outside of the restaurant. Furthermore, Swift was extremely private about her previous romance with actor Joe Alwyn. The two were rarely seen together throughout their entire five-year relationship. On the flip side, Swift did flaunt her most recent fling with singer Matt Healy for paparazzi in the spring.

Personally, I hope she doesn’t hypothetically show up to her hypothetical boyfriend’s game this Sunday. “Getting stomped in front of Taylor Swift” is not something the Bears need on their resume at this point in the season.

Jason Kelce on Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift dating rumors: ‘I think it's all 100% true' https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/sports/nfl/jason-kelce-on-travis-kelce-taylor-swift-dating-rumors-i-think-its-all-100-true/3232282/ 3232282 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/09/web-230920-travis-kelce-taylor-swift-split.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Speculation that Travis Kelce is dating Taylor Swift has been the talk of the NFL world in recent weeks, even leading to puns from the broadcast booth.

NFL pundits have drawn Travis’ brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, into the mix and asked him to spill details on the rumors. Just last week, the elder Kelce said he couldn’t comment on his younger brother’s situation after the Eagles’ win on Thursday Night Football.

On Wednesday, however, Jason sang a different tune and said he thinks the speculation is “100% true.”

“I try to keep his business kind of his business, stay out of that world,” he said on the “WIP Morning Show” out of Philadelphia. “But having said that, I think he’s doing great and I think it’s all 100% true.”

Neither Travis nor Swift have directly addressed the rumors yet.

However, Jason’s comments on his brother and podcast partner will add fuel to the fire.

NFL announcer uses Taylor Swift song title in Travis Kelce TD call amid romance rumors https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/sports/nfl/nfl-announcer-uses-taylor-swift-song-title-in-travis-kelce-td-call-amid-romance-rumors/3229917/ 3229917 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/09/230917-kelce-getty.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift may or may not be dating.

But that didn’t stop CBS Sports announcer Ian Eagle from making an incredible call during the Kansas City Chiefs’ Week 2 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Kelce, who missed Week 1 with a knee injury, returned to the field on Sunday and scored his first touchdown of the season in the third quarter.

Eagle’s play-by-play call made the score even better:

“Blank Space,” of course, is one of Swift’s most popular songs. The single was released back in 2014.

Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce wouldn’t confirm or deny the rumors involving his brother on Thursday night, which only fueled the fire even more.

During the Kansas City stop of Swift’s Eras Tour on July 7, Travis showed up with friendship bracelets bearing his “number” that he planned to give the 33-year-old pop singer — but his pursuit, at the time, appeared unsuccessful.

Kelce and the Chiefs are focused on football for now, though, looking to shake off their Week 1 loss.

Jason Kelce faces hard-hitting questions about romance rumors between brother, Travis, and Taylor Swift https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/sports/nfl/jason-kelce-faces-hard-hitting-questions-about-romance-between-brother-travis-and-taylor-swift/3229084/ 3229084 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/09/image-48-3.png?fit=300,169&quality=85&strip=all If there’s one thing Travis Kelce should be applauded for, it’s his resilience.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end may have been intercepted when trying to give Taylor Swift his number this summer, but it didn’t stop 33-year-old Kelce from shooting his shot again.

Amid rumors that the two celebrities were spending time together, Kelce’s brother, Jason, responded to the speculation after the Eagles defeated the Vikings on Thursday Night Football.

“I’ve seen these rumors … I cannot comment,” the Eagles center said in a postgame interview.

He added that since his brother’s series “Catching Kelce” premiered in 2016, “everyone’s been infatuated with Travis’ love life.”

During a Kansas City stop of Swift’s Eras Tour on July 7, Kelce showed up with friendship bracelets bearing his “number” that he’d hoped to pass off to the 33-year-old pop singer. But apparently, he couldn’t get past the line of scrimmage that is Swift’s pre-show rituals.

“I don’t really know what’s going on there,” Jason said of the romance speculation. “I know Trav is having fun, we’ll see what happens with whoever he ends up with.”

The Eagles (2-0) will play on Monday Night Football against the Buccaneers (1-0) on Sept. 25 at 7:15 p.m. ET.

Highest-paid tight ends for 2023 NFL season after T.J. Hockenson's new deal with Vikings https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/sports/nfl/highest-paid-tight-ends-for-2023-nfl-season-after-t-j-hockensons-new-deal-with-vikings/3218937/ 3218937 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/08/230831-tj-hockenson-getty.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Tight ends are critical for any great NFL offense.

Not only are these big-bodied players expected to catch passes, they also serve as a de facto sixth lineman in some offenses.

With their increasing responsibilities, tight ends across the league have seen an uptick in their salaries. That became even more evident when T.J. Hockenson inked a market-setting deal with the Minnesota Vikings, who traded for the former first-rounder last year. After signing the four-year, $68.5 million extension, Hockenson now leads all tight ends in average annual value at $17.125 million per year.

Where does Hockenson stack up in total cash for this season, though? Here’s a breakdown of NFL tight end salaries ahead of the 2023 season (via Spotrac):

Highest-paid tight end in the NFL for 2023

For the 2023 season alone, the Jaguars’ Evan Engram will make the most money among tight ends at $15 million. He signed a three-year, $41.25 million deal to stay in Jacksonville over the offseason, which is front-loaded with a higher salary for 2023.

In terms of total contract value, the 49ers’ George Kittle is making $75 million over his current five-year deal that run through the 2025 season.

As aforementioned, Hockenson will have the highest AAV among tight ends when his new deal kicks in for 2024. He also received the highest guarantee in NFL history for a tight end at $42.5 million.

Chiefs' Travis Kelce throws punch at teammate after touchdown at practice https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/sports/nfl/chiefs-travis-kelce-throws-punch-at-teammate-after-touchdown-at-practice/3196928/ 3196928 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/07/web-230729-travis-kelce-usat.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 It’s not often that a scuffle breaks out between teammates after a touchdown. But that was the case for Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday.

After Patrick Mahomes tossed a touchdown pass to Kelce during practice, linebacker Jack Cochrane attempted to swat the ball out of the All-Pro tight end’s hands after the play. Kelce took exception and threw a punch at Cochrane.

The two then exchanged shoves and words before being separated.

Kelce later showed remorse for the incident on social media.

“Gotta be a better teammate gotta be a better leader… plain and simple,” Kelce tweeted.

Kelce, a four-time All-Pro selection and eight-time Pro Bowler over his first 10 seasons, set career highs last year with 110 receptions and 12 touchdowns.

The 24-year-old Cochrane is an undrafted free agent out of South Dakota entering his second season, played in 15 games for the Chiefs last season. He recorded nine combined tackles.

It was the second-straight day that Kelce had a minor altercation with a teammate.

Kelce got into a skirmish with Chiefs cornerback Dicaprio Bootle after making a catch during Friday’s practice.

How Travis Kelce's attempt to give Taylor Swift his ‘number' was intercepted https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/how-travis-kelces-attempt-to-give-taylor-swift-his-number-was-intercepted/3194750/ 3194750 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/07/image-33-7.png?fit=300,169&quality=85&strip=all Interference on the play!

Travis Kelce recently shared his failed attempt to shoot his shot and talk to Taylor Swift at her Kansas City stop on her Eras Tour July 7. As it turns out, he had a special gift for her. In keeping with Swiftie tradition, he showed up to the concert with friendship bracelets bearing his “number” that he’d hoped to pass off to the pop singer. But apparently, the Kansas City Chiefs star couldn’t get past the line of scrimmage that is Swift’s pre-show rituals.

“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” Kelce shared on the July 26 episode of his New Heights podcast with brother Jason Kelce. “So I was a little butt-hurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.”

And after explaining the friendship bracelet concept to the Philadelphia Eagles center, the 33-year-old added, “I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it.”

But whether the bracelet was a Hail Mary to get the “Anti-Hero” singer his phone number or whether it just bore his jersey number? Kelce kept it coy…

“Oooo,” teased his brother, before asking, “Your number as in 87 or your phone number?”

But apparently, Kelce doesn’t kiss and tell—even if he muffed the play. He simply told his brother, “You know which one.”

And the NFL tight end isn’t the only celebrity to be sure to attend one of the Grammy winner’s tour stops. In fact, at the very same show Kelce attended, Swift brought out special guests Taylor Lautner, Joey King and Presley Cash who all starred in her “I Can See You” music video off her “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” album.

Keep reading for a list of all the stars who have jammed out to Swift’s many eras at one of her concerts.

“what a night in seattle!!!” Simu Liu wrote of his date with girlfriend Allison Hsu. “i was absolutely BLOWN away by the eras tour, by taylor and by all of the amazing and kind swifties that stopped by the tent to say hello and give a bracelet. you really showed me that kindness always wins. bravo!!!”

Swift brought out her ex Lautner, plus King and Cash onstage at her show in Kansas City, Mo. July 7, 2023, the day she released her new music video, “I Can See You,” starring the three.

“In my RED (Taylor’s Version) Era and makin new friends,” the rapper wrote June 9.

The “Pretty Woman” star shared her view of the stage in Chicago, writing, “@taylorswift I Love You. Thank you for being EVERYTHING WE EVER NEEDED! Ever.”

The “girls girls girls” singer lip-synced to “Blank Space” at MetLife Stadium, quipping on TikTok, “no lies detected.”

“I cried so hard when you sang welcome to NEW YORK,” Drew Barrymore wrote on Instagram after one of the New Jersey show. “I moved here not knowing where my life was going. And I actually found myself so happy in this chapter. I also cried watching my daughters and cousin Sadie watch and love and sing to someone so admirable. YOU. I LOVE YOU TAYLOR SWIFT!!!!!!!! You are the role model all of us girls and women need.”

She continued, “Thank you for one of the best nights of our lives. We are so lucky to have seen your show… You transcend. And make life beautiful. Everyone passing beaded bracelets around. Witnessing the good.”

Busy Philipps took her kids Birdie, 14, and Cricket, 9, to one of the MetLife shows, writing to Swift afterward, “thank you for the magic that you’ve brought into my and my kids lives. Birdie adores you and I really think you would love her too.”

Miles Teller rocked out at Swift’s MetLife Stadium show on May 27, as photographed by Aaron Rodgers.

Teller’s wife Keleigh attended too, after the couple starred in Swift’s “I Bet You Think About Me” music video in 2021.

She captioned her backstage pic with Swift, “48 hours in ERAs heaven.”

The “Inventing Anna” star busted a move with Keleigh.

The actresses had a “lil #BadBlood reunion” at her New York area shows, as Mariska Hargitay put it on Instagram.

The comedians had the time of their lives at MetLife, with Matt Rogers revealing he hugged the singer’s mom Andrea Swift.

“The Summer I Turned Pretty” star danced the night away with the book’s author at a MetLife show.

Dressed in a cardigan and wearing beaded friendship bracelets, the “You’ actress captioned a photo of herself on the way to the New York show, “eras tour here i come baby.”

The “Snow White” actress explained, “i came dressed as betty” to Swift’s May 26 show in the New York area.

The actress took her kids Ellery and Jaya to opening night of the Eras Tour in Glendale, Ariz.

The country star rocked out to her show in Las Vegas.

The model was in the audience for opening night of the Eras Tour in Glendale, Ariz., later sharing photos of her trip to the desert.

“The Home Edit” organizer attended night one with her family in Arizona.

The former racing driver was in attendance for the Eras Tour in Arizona.

“We were all so in the moment that we didn’t take many pictures together and I didn’t even take that many videos,” Danica Patrick wrote in a March 18 Instagram post. “@taylorswift sang 44 songs and it was the most amazing concert I have ever seen. Swiftie for life.”

JJ Watt stepped out for the Eras Tour opening concert with wife Kealia Ohai Watt and other loved ones on March 18. Not only did the NFL star pose with a cardboard cutout of Swift in honor of the show, but he also took to Twitter to gush about the experience.

“I went to the Taylor Swift concert last night with my wife and her friends,” Watt said in a video posted March 19. “First off, unbelievable. The production, the set design, the video boards, the sound quality, the speakers. You can tell when somebody does something at the top of their game and is trying to do the right way for their fans.”

Chiefs' Travis Kelce lands in ‘Madden' 99 Club for fourth time https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/sports/nfl/chiefs-travis-kelce-lands-in-madden-99-club-for-fourth-time/3190726/ 3190726 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/07/web-230720-travis-kelce.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Travis Kelce added another Super Bowl ring to his trophy case earlier this year, and now he’s added another appearance in the “Madden” 99 Club.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end earned a 99 overall rating for “Madden NFL 24,” putting him in the 99 Club for the fourth time in his career. Those four selections are the most of any tight end in NFL history.

Kelce was far and away the NFL’s premier tight end in 2022. He had 110 receptions (24 more than any other TE), 1,338 receiving yards (over 400 more than any other TE) and 12 touchdowns (one more than second-place George Kittle). He was named to his eighth Pro Bowl team, fourth All-Pro first team and placed sixth in NFL Offensive Player of the Year voting.

Oh, and to wrap the season up, he had six catches, 81 yards and a touchdown in the Chiefs’ Super Bowl LVII win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Kelce is the fourth member of the “Madden NFL 24” 99 Club, joining Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson, Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald and Dallas Cowboys guard Zack Martin.

“Madden” isn’t done releasing its ratings, and one of Kelce’s teammates figures to join the 99 Club soon. The game will unveil its quarterback ratings on Friday, likely reuniting Kelce with reigning NFL and Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes.

Watch Chiefs' Travis Kelce Chug Beer Off Lombardi Trophy Then Spike It During ‘Kelce Fest' https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/sports/watch-chiefs-travis-kelce-chug-beer-off-lombardi-trophy-then-spike-it/3130447/ 3130447 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/04/web-230429-travis-kelce-getty.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Travis Kelce Chugs Beer Off Lombardi Trophy Then Spikes It originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago

Hopefully that was not the real Lombardi Trophy.

If it was, the trophy given to the Kansas City Chiefs for their Super Bowl victory in February likely has some scratches on it. Or a dent. And it also probably smells like beer.

That’s what happens after a night out with Travis Kelce.

The Chiefs tight end hosted a music festival in Kansas City on Friday night called “Kelce Jam.” Kelce appeared on stage and began using the trophy like an ice luge to drink a beer. He then spiked the trophy as if it were the football from a touchdown pass he had just caught from Patrick Mahomes.

Only difference is it’s made of silver instead of leather. Fear not, Chiefs front office executives. The Kansas City Star did report that the trophy was a replica

Kelce later took the mic, singing “Fight for Your Right” by the Beastie Boys.

Hip hop artists Rick Ross, Machine Gun Kelly and Kansas City’s Tech N9ne also performed. The event also included a chicken wing eating contest and a drone show.

Watch Travis Kelce's Epic First Pitch Fail at Guardians Game https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/sports/watch-travis-kelces-epic-first-pitch-fail-at-guardians-game/3114840/ 3114840 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/04/USATSI_20416595_168392271_lowres.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,200 Travis Kelce seemed to forget he was on a baseball diamond and not a football field on Friday.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and Cleveland Heights native had the honor of throwing out the first pitch at the Cleveland Guardians’ home opener against the Seattle Mariners.

Former Cy Young winner Shane Bieber was behind the dish at Progressive Field to catch the ball from Kelce. And given that Kelce is a former high school quarterback and current NFL superstar, Bieber probably didn’t anticipate the kind of pitch Kelce unleashed.

The two-time Super Bowl champion looked like he was celebrating a touchdown as he spiked the ball into the grass, causing Bieber to move out of the way as it went to the backstop.

That could be right up there with the likes of 50 Cent and Steve Aoki as one of the worst first pitches ever.

“Been spiking a football for the past 10 years… can you tell?” Kelce wrote in a tweet afterward.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was very amused by his teammate’s first pitch fail.

Mahomes, who is a minority owner of the Royals, also wants Kansas City’s ballclub to give Kelce a shot at redemption as soon as possible.

The Royals may need to have someone in full catcher’s gear for that one.

Chiefs Star Travis Kelce to Host ‘Kelce Jam' Music Festival During NFL Draft Weekend https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/chiefs-star-travis-kelce-to-host-kelce-jam-music-festival-during-nfl-draft-weekend/3111469/ 3111469 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/04/AP23093751627102.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Travis Kelce is living his best life: On the heels of winning the Super Bowl and hosting “Saturday Night Live,” the Kansas City Chiefs superstar tight end will cap his successful string with a music festival this month.

The two-time Super Bowl winner announced Tuesday that he’ll host his first-ever festival called “Kelce Jam” during NFL Draft weekend. The inaugural event will be held April 28 at the Azura Amphitheater in Bonner Springs, Kansas — a metropolitan area of Kansas City.

The event will feature performances by Machine Gun Kelly, Rick Ross, DJ duo Loud Luxury and Kansas City rap legend Tech N9ne.

“With the draft coming to KC, I think it’s perfect timing for me to throw the biggest music festival that’s ever come here,” said Kelce, who believes the festival could lure around 15,000 attendees. “We’ll have some unreal stage productions, Kansas City’s best food, tons of attractions and football-related games. This will be a whole lot of fun.”

Kelce said he’s taking advantage of his surging popularity after the Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 57 in February. Last month, he hosted “Saturday Night Live” and he co-hosts a flourishing podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce, who plays for the Eagles.

In this moment, Kelce is enjoying “every bit of it” and feels ecstatic about his upcoming music festival.

“Every door that’s been opened because of winning the Super Bowl, I’ve been running through them,” he said. “It’s not going to stop anytime soon – especially with Kelce Jam. I think this will be the nail-in-the-coffin for the 2022 season.”

Kelce said he wanted to bring some of his favorite artists including Machine Gun Kelly – who is an Ohio native like himself. He felt inspired to host his own music festival after he attended four-time Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski ’s Gronk Beach during the NFL Draft in Las Vegas last year.

“I took note from what Gronk did last year,” he said. “I want to throw a big party knowing that the draft is coming to Kansas City. It’s a special event for the city to host. … I’m going to need Kansas City to come out and be electric with me.”
