The couple, who have been together since they were 16 years old, described the split as amiable in statements shared to their respective Instagram stories.

Beckham, the second eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, confirmed on Feb. 25 that the couple had “parted ways after 5 years of love.” He also affectionately used Regan’s nickname, “Mooch.”

“We still have a lot of love and respect for each other, and still hold a strong friendship and always will,” Beckham, 21, wrote over a picture of the two together.

Instagram

Regan, 21, also shared a cute picture of the former couple, calling Beckham, “Ro.”

“We aren’t together romantically but we do share lots & lots of love for one another… after 5 years we friendzoned each other,” she wrote.

Regan is a model represented by Storm Management. She’s been in campaigns for H&M, Loewe, Prada and other brands. She also created a denim capsule collection in collaboration with Victoria Beckham’s fashion line.

Regan and Romeo Beckham celebrated their four-year anniversary in May 2023.

The couple made their first public appearance together as teenagers in 2021 for a joint outing at Wimbledon. They made their red carpet debut a few months later at the Fashion Awards in London.

The moment doubled as Regan’s first red carpet, but she found support for her nerves through her boyfriend’s mom — Victoria Beckham.

“Even just talking about what I’m wearing with her, what nails and make-up I’m going to go for, it’s nice to have that figure,” Regan told Vogue at the time.

Lisa Bonet files for divorce from Jason Momoa 18 years after they became a couple https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/lisa-bonet-files-for-divorce-from-jason-momoa-18-years-after-they-became-a-couple/3321357/ 3321357 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2024/01/AP24008814273976.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,226 Lisa Bonet has filed for divorce from Jason Momoa 18 years after the two actors became a couple.

The 56-year-old Bonet, whose legal name is Lilakoi Moon, filed documents to end her marriage to the 44-year-old Momoa in Los Angeles County court on Monday. The filing comes nearly two years after they announced their separation.

The petition cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. The filing says neither person should get financial support and that the two have agreed on how to split their assets. The documents say they should have joint custody of their 16-year-old daughter and 15-year-old son.

Momoa is best known for his roles in the “Aquaman” movies and on “Game of Thrones.” Bonet was a star of “The Cosby Show,” its spinoff “A Different World,” and the films “High Fidelity” and “Enemy of the State.”

The two met and started dating in 2005, but did not legally marry until 2017. Their divorce documents gives their separation date as October 2020, more than a year before their announcement. It will be at least six months before a judge declares them divorced.

It was the first marriage for Momoa and the second for Bonet, who was previously married to musician Lenny Kravitz and has another daughter, actor Zoë Kravitz, with him.

‘The Bachelorette's' Rachel Lindsay breaks silence on Bryan Abasolo divorce https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/the-bachelorettes-rachel-lindsay-breaks-silence-on-bryan-abasolo-divorce/3319426/ 3319426 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2024/01/image-5-2.png?fit=300,169&quality=85&strip=all Originally appeared on E! Online

Life hasn’t exactly been a bed of roses for Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo.

Shortly after the chiropractor filed for divorce, the former Bachelorette briefly addressed the headlines on her “Higher Learning” podcast with Van Lathan.

“I didn’t think I would get emotional,” she said on the Jan. 5 episode. “First off I just want to say thank you for people who reached out. I’m still trying to reply to people. You just never know how great your circle is until you see all the people that reach out and love you.”

Referencing the breakup, Lindsay added, “Obviously it’s a difficult time, if you’ve read the headlines, and you’re probably wondering why I would even work. But to be honest with you I need to distract myself from myself and the best way to do that is to do something that I love and I love ‘Higher Learning’.”

And while Lindsay noted she’s going to try her best to get through the episode, she’s not going to get into detail about her split just yet.

“I will eventually,” she said, “but now is not the time, just trying to take it day by day.”

In his Jan. 2 divorce filing obtained by E! News, Abasolo listed New Year’s Eve as the date of his and Lindsay’s separation and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their breakup. The petition also states that he is seeking spousal support.

The Bachelorette” Stars: Where Are They Now?

Not long after his filing was made public, Abasolo addressed the end of his four-year marriage to Lindsay in a statement shared on social media.

“If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I don’t like to put my personal affairs on social media and like to keep a safe space for our family,” he wrote on Instagram. “Many of you know me as a chiropractor, and also as a husband, my proudest role so far. After more than 4 years of marriage, Rachel and I have made the difficult decision to part ways and start anew.”

And while it wasn’t an easy move, he suggested that it was ultimately the right one for them.

“My parents have been married forever and I’m a family man, but sometimes loving yourself and your partner means you must let go,” the 43-year-old added. “I wanted you to hear it from the source before the blogs start making up their own reality. Please respect the spaces of our family and friends as we figure out our next steps.”

The news comes less than two months after Lindsay shared her and Abasolo’s plans to grow their family one day.

“It’s something that we want,” the attorney, 38, told E! News in November. “It’s been harder than I thought it would be. We’re trying. You think, ‘Oh yeah, when I’m ready, I’ll make it happen.’ But it’s just been a little bit more difficult for us. But we’re definitely starting the process.”

Lindsay and Abasolo got engaged on her season of “The Bachelorette” in 2017 and tied the knot two years later. During their time together, the couple navigated life in the spotlight and living on separate coasts. And after dealing with public scrutiny, they decided to keep their relationship private.

In fact, Lindsay opened up about facing constant speculation about the state of their marriage.

“We’re always a hot topic,” Lindsay told E! News. “Whenever there’s a rumor about a Bachelor Nation person getting divorced, it’s my husband and I because we aren’t public with our relationship and that’s the exact reason why we’re not. Because we realized a long time ago that so many people—the more you give them, the more opinions and judgments that they have. And so, we realized we needed to protect ourselves. So for us, we just post when we want to post. We’re together all the time. We’re just not putting it out there.”

It’s over between Zac Brown and his new wife Kelly Yazdi.

The two have split and are set to legally end their marriage, four months after tying the knot.

“We are in the process of divorce,” the former couple said in a joint statement to Billboard Dec. 29. “Our mutual respect for one another remains. We wish each other the best and will always appreciate our time together. As we navigate this personal matter, we simply request privacy during this time.”

According to TMZ, the first to report the breakup, the Zac Brown Band frontman, 45, married Yazdi, 32, in Georgia in August. The musician and model had gotten engaged in 2022.

Before announcing their plans to divorce, Yazdi sparked breakup rumors when she left Instagram and then reactivated her account using her maiden name while also removing all traces of her husband from her page, TMZ reported. She and Brown do not follow each other on social media.

Zac Brown Band’s Out in the Middle Tour

The country star has been married before. He and Shelly Brown ended their 12-year marriage in 2018. The two share five kids—Justice, 16, Lucy, 15, Georgia, 13, Joni, 12, and Alexander, 9.

Brown and Yazdi are among the last celebrity pairs to announce their separation before the end of 2023. Other stars who are navigating a recent breakup include Kathy Griffin, who filed for divorce from husband Randy Bick Dec. 28, days before their fourth wedding anniversary, music couple Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd, and Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner.

Mariah Carey and Bryan Tanaka split after 7 years together, dancer confirms https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/mariah-carey-and-bryan-tanaka-breakup-after-7-years-together/3311527/ 3311527 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/12/MARIAH-BREAKUP.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Mariah Carey and Bryan Tanaka have split after 7 years together, the dancer confirmed Tuesday.

In a statement shared with The Associated Press and published to Tanaka’s Instagram, Carey’s backup dancer-turned-creative director and partner detailed their breakup.

“With mixed emotions, I share this personal update regarding my amicable separation from Mariah Carey after seven extraordinary years together,” he wrote. “Our decision to embark on different paths is mutual, and as we navigate these separate journeys, we do so with profound respect and an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the invaluable time we’ve shared. The memories we’ve created and the artistic collaborations are etched in my heart forever.”

“I eagerly anticipate continuing my journey, knowing my passion for inspiration, dance, and the creative arts will resonate in the unfolding chapters,” he continued.

Tanaka and Carey first met when Tanaka joined her 2006 The Adventures of Mimi tour as a backup dancer.

The “All I Want for Christmas is You” singer first confirmed their relationship to the AP in 2017.

“I’m just going to be like ‘I really don’t talk about my personal life.’ Because that’s what I used to do and it really worked for a minute, back, a while ago,” she said at the time, smiling. “I just don’t feel comfortable talking about my personal life. … Me and my boyfriend don’t want to do that.”

Rumors of their split began popping up online last month, when fans noticed Tanaka did not join Carey on her Merry Christmas One and All! tour.

Carey has not released a public statement about the breakup.

A representative for Carey did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the AP.

Zach Braff reveals where he and ex Florence Pugh stand after their breakup https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/zach-braff-reveals-where-he-and-ex-florence-pugh-stand-after-their-breakup/3303896/ 3303896 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/12/GettyImages-1472159820.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,200 Originally appeared on E! Don’t worry, darling: Zach Braff and Florence Pugh are still very close despite their breakup last year.

In fact, the “Scrubs” alum often talks to the “Oppenheimer” actress, revealing that he most recently texted her a photo of his OOTD for “approval.”

“I was on the ‘Today’ show this morning and she said she wanted to see pictures of what my outfit was,” Braff shared on the Dec. 14 episode of SiriusXM’s “The Jess Cagle Show.” “We love each other a lot.”

That’s why he had Pugh in mind when he wrote his latest directorial feature “A Good Person,” which starred the 27-year-old as an aspiring musician dealing with an unimaginable loss. Describing his ex as a “young Meryl Streep,” Braff raved of her performance, “It’s pretty clear across the world that I’m not biased when I say that she is one of the finest actresses working today.”

He added, “She’s just extraordinary and I just feel so lucky that I that I got to have her be my leading lady.”

Friendly Celebrity Exes

Braff, 48, and Pugh first sparked romance rumors in 2019. However, the two called it quits after three years of dating, with Pugh sharing in her September 2022 cover story with Harper’s Bazaar, “We’ve been trying to do this separation without the world knowing, because it’s been a relationship that everybody has an opinion on.”

“We just felt something like this would really do us the benefit of not having millions of people telling us how happy they are that we’re not together,” continued Pugh, who defended the couple’s 21-year age gap numerous times throughout their relationship. “So we’ve done that.”

Earlier this year, the “Don’t Worry Darling” star reflected on criticism over her and Braff’s age difference, arguing that the notoriously private pair were never “in anyone’s faces” with their romance.

“It was just that people didn’t like it,” Pugh said in a January interview with Vogue. “They imagined me with someone younger and someone in blockbusters. I think young relationships in Hollywood are so easily twisted because they add to the gossip sites. It’s exciting to watch. And I think I was in a relationship that didn’t do any of that.”

Eric McCormack and Janet Leigh Holden McCormack’s run has come to an end.

After 26 years of marriage, the director filed for divorce from the “Will & Grace” alum on Nov. 22.

According to court documents obtained by E! News, she cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split, listing their date of separation as “TBD.” Janet Leigh Holden McCormack—who shares 21-year-old son Finnigan with the actor—is seeking spousal support and asking to terminate the court’s ability to award Eric McCormack the same.

E! News has reached out to her attorney and his rep for comment but has yet to hear back.

Though their love story doesn’t have a Hollywood ending, it certainly had that beginning as they met on set of “Lonesome Dove: The Series” in 1994.

“She was the assistant director,” Eric McCormack recalled in a 2007 piece for The Guardian. “I was just coming out of a relationship, and not to be trusted. I’d been dating actresses but Janet was different. She wore jeans, drove a pick-up truck.”

Will & Grace Cast: Then & Now

And she wasn’t in awe by his fame.

“At first she wasn’t too keen,” he continued. “She knew actors are a lot of work: it would be like taking your work home with you. But I managed to convince her. We had a secret affair the first season. I mean, dating crew! Actually, it was much worse for her, because she wasn’t supposed to give any of the actors preferential treatment.”

And while the season may have ended, their romance was just beginning.

“This is the first shot Janet & I took at the #LonesomeDove Season 1 Wrap Party, circa Dec ’94,” Eric, who wed Janet in August 1997, captioned a throwback photo on Instagram for her birthday in April 2020. “Just so happens this was our ‘coming out’ party. No one on the show knew we’d been dating for months. And *today* is my wife’s birthday! Happy Birthday, @janetmccormack #gratitude.”

Maren Morris files for divorce from Ryan Hurd after 5 years of marriage https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/maren-morris-file-for-divorce-from-ryan-hurd-after-5-years-of-marriage/3253060/ 3253060 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/10/GettyImages-1463293975.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,214 This article originally appeared on E! Maren Morris is in the middle of a new era.

The “My Church” singer has filed for divorce from husband Ryan Hurd after five years of marriage, multiple outlets report.

According to court documents obtained by People and Us Weekly, Morris — who shares 3-year-old son Hayes with the “To a T” artist — submitted paperwork Oct. 2, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their breakup.

E! News has reached out to reps for Morris and Hurd for comment and has not year heard back.

The duo’s relationship news comes just weeks after Hurd — who wed Morris in March 2018 — came to her defense as she said goodbye to country music.

“She deserves to be celebrated, not just tolerated,” Hurd wrote on Instagram alongside cover art for her new music project The Bridge. “I love the response from people who don’t just love these two songs, they needed them. I knew it would strike a chord.”

Morris — who recently admitted on the New York Times’ “Popcast” podcast that she couldn’t tolerate certain behavior in the country music scene any longer — has received some criticism over her exit.

“I’m so sick of watching my wife get the s*** kicked out of her by the internet,” Hurd continued in his Instagram message. “I’m sick of every talking head having some kind of stupid opinion about what she says. It’s the same every time, why are you surprised when she calls out something racist or homophobic, I’m sick of people getting rewarded for it.”

Maren Morris’ Best Looks

“To me the Bridge is beautiful and so rock and roll,” he added. “She deserves a little sunshine for the burden she has carried for every artist and fan that feels the same way. I can’t wait for that first tour and to see all of the smiling and beautiful people who needed these songs and and also need HER. I can’t wait to make music that follows the same path, whatever that is.”

Hurd concluded with a nod to Morris. “Love you, MM,” he wrote. “Keep on keepin’ on.”

Back in February, Hurd was by Morris’ side at the 2023 Grammys, where they were nominated in the Best Country Song category for “Circles Around This Town.”

And it seemed at the time the bones were still good for the pair. “We met writing songs,” he told Laverne Cox on E!’s Live From the Red Carpet. “So this is a really cool night for us because we’re nominated together for a country song.”

“I’m so proud of her,” Hurd added. “This is just an amazing thing.”

Josh Duhamel reveals the real reason behind Fergie divorce https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/josh-duhamel-reveals-the-real-reason-behind-fergie-divorce/3244481/ 3244481 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2019/09/Fergie_Josh-Duhamel.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Originally appeared on E! Sometimes, the glamorous lifestyle can take its toll.

Josh Duhamel is getting candid about his relationship with ex-wife Fergie, and why their Hollywood romance wasn’t meant to last.

To the suggestion that the relationship taught him you can only accept people for who they are and not what you need them to be, Duhamel said, “I’d say that’s probably true, and she probably could say the same thing about me.”

“You know I think we both agree that we’re just very different,” he continued, during an Oct. 4 clip from “In Depth with Graham Bensinger.” “And we made an awesome kid. We get along great, and we get to raise him without any acrimony.”

But for the “Transformers” alum — who welcomed son, Axl, now 10, with Fergie before the pair split in 2017 after 8 years of marriage — life in the spotlight took a personal toll.

“I don’t think I ever really got comfortable with it,” the 50-year-old explained. “It was just a lot. I missed the simplicity of who I really am. I’m just not a guy who is comfortable doing red carpets, doing all the Hollywood stuff. I don’t hate it, I’m better at it now, but it just took me a long time to really feel like I belong, like I fit in. You know Hollywood and L.A., that whole lifestyle can suck the life out of you if you’re not careful.”

Fergie and Josh Duhamel: Romance Rewind

But looking back at his time with the Black Eyed Peas singer, Duhamel doesn’t have any regrets.

“I’ve made peace with that part of my life,” the “Shotgun Wedding “actor continued. “She and I have a great relationship. We’re both raising that boy together. And there wasn’t anything wrong with it. We actually had a great time, but I think we just kind of outgrew each other, and had very different interests.”

He added, “But I’ve got no hard feelings, I truly don’t. I’m very lucky that she’s a kind human, I really am.”

So when it comes to coparenting their son, Duhamel explained it’s been easy, as they two have always had similar goals.

“We both had parents who got divorced, who didn’t get along so great,” he revealed. “And we didn’t want to go the same thing to our kid. I think that we both just wanted the same thing, and that is to create an easy place for him that isn’t awkward, or uncomfortable or pressure-filled.”

And now, his son Axl is going to be a big brother, as Duhamel and his wife Audra Mari Duhamel are expecting their first child together. Something the 10-year-old had some initial questions about.

“He’s like, ‘Wait, now, am I going to be — you’re still going to love me, though, too, right?'” Duhamel told Parade in an interview published Sept. 21. “I was like, ‘Of course I’m going to still going to love you.’ And he’s like, ‘I’m still going to be your firstborn son, though, right?’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, you’re still the firstborn son!'”

He added, “He’s really good with younger kids. So I think he’s going to be a great older brother.”

Grimes sues Elon Musk over parental rights of their 3 kids https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/grimes-sues-elon-musk-over-parental-rights-of-their-3-kids/3241725/ 3241725 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/10/GettyImages-955830346.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,200 Originally appeared on E! Grimes is taking legal action against her ex Elon Musk over their children.

The “Crystal Ball” singer — who shares son X Æ A-12, 3, daughter Exa Dark Sideræl, 20 months, and son Techno Mechanicus with the Tesla CEO—has filed a petition seeking to establish parental rights, according to court records obtained by NBC News Oct. 3.

It appears Musk—who split from Grimes in March 2022 after four years of dating—has yet to formally respond to the filing. E! News has reached out to both Musk and Grimes’ reps for comment and has not heard back.

The legal move comes nearly a month after the artist, born Claire Boucher, publicly confirmed she and the tech mogul privately welcomed their youngest son, nicknamed Tau.

Prior to the revelation, in a since-deleted post shared to X (formerly known as Twitter) on Sept. 7, Grimes, 35, also addressed executive Shivon Zilis, with whom Musk shares 19-month-old twins and their custodial drama, writing, “Tell Shivon to unblock me and tell Elon to let me see my son or plz respond to my lawyer.”

However, most recently, the “Genesis” artist noted that she and Shivon were able to move forward and are on the same page.

Elon Musk’s Complicated Family Tree

“Hey, I wud prefer to not breathe any more life into this current press cycle but I want to de-escalate the narrative atm,” Grimes wrote on X Sept. 10. “I spoke with Shivon at length finally, which was long overdue. This wasn’t her fault, plz don’t be angry at her! We respect each other a lot and we’re excited to become friends and have the kids grow up together.”

She added, “Women are so often pitted against each other. Speaking with Shivon, it’s very evident she’s an amazing human and we both just want what’s best for our kids.”

The songwriter also reflected on her and Musk’s latest addition, noting that she wishes she could show “how cute little Techno is,” but explained her priority is keeping her children “out of the public eye” at this time.

Shortly after Grimes shared her message, Shivon, 37, confirmed that all was well.

“At the end of the day it all ended up for the best!” she responded on X. “Thank you for taking the time to really connect and understand each other. So glad we had such a wonderful talk, was insanely overdue. You’re a total badass and I respect you very much as well. I can’t wait for kiddo play date and congrats on baby Tau as well!”

Before welcoming kids with Grimes and Shivon, the Tesla founder, 52, previously welcomed six children with ex-wife Justine Musk.

Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson are taking on new roles as co-parents.

The “Queen & Slim” actress has filed for divorce from the “Dawson’s Creek” alum after four years of marriage.

According to the documents, submitted in Los Angeles and obtained by E! News Oct. 2, Turner-Smith cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the breakup and requested joint custody of their 3-year-old daughter. The paperwork also lists Sept. 13 as the date of the duo’s separation.

E! News has reached out to reps for Turner-Smith and Jackson for comment.

Back in March, during an exclusive interview with E! News, Jackson, 45, shared insight into his relationship with the 37-year-old.

“The most surprising thing is that it’s a lot more homey than it looks like from the outside,” the “Dr. Death” star shared. “It’s very, very baby-oriented and family-oriented inside the house.”

“It’s pretty spectacular, honestly,” he added. “Mama does love a dress up and I don’t mind getting dressed up and standing next to her. But this having a kid thing together is pretty magical.”

Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith: Romance Rewind

As for Turner-Smith, she’s occasionally provided glimpses into their romance, specifically those vulnerable early days in the public eye.

“When I came onto the scene I was secretly married and I was secretly pregnant,” Turner-Smith told Bustle in December 2022. “And that was a story for people. I think a lot of it was because I was married to a white person. And I was married to a white person who has been in the public eye for decades and you know, has been someone that the tabloids like to talk about.”

“I mean, it was like literally the most vulnerable time,” she recalled of being in the spotlight. “I don’t want to sit here and be like a celebrity who’s complaining about the very ecosystem that keeps me wealthy. But the reality is that there is an underbelly that it’s very hard to deal with.”

And although Turner-Smith and Jackson are heading in separate directions romantically, they remain united when it comes to raising their daughter.

As she shared in December, “I think the bottom line is, I accept the thorns that come with the rose. I accept them for me. I don’t accept them for my daughter.”

“Historically, women have always been asked to choose between being great mothers and great at their careers,” she continued before adding, “Josh has always tried to maintain that I would always have all the support that I needed so that I could do both.”

As she enters a new chapter, Turner-Smith isn’t letting their breakup get her down. In fact, she recently spent time in Milan for fashion week.

“OH @GUCCI!!!! what a chic and sexy start, @sabatods,” she captioned Instagram photos from her stylish trip Oct. 2. “i’m proud to have witnessed it, especially with my gorgeous mother @hildaturnersmith by my side.”

Days after the “Game of Thronesactress filed a lawsuit against her estranged husband petitioning that their children — daughter Willa, 3, and a 14-month-old daughter whose initials are listed as DMJ — be allowed to return to England with her, the former couple have reached a temporary agreement regarding the location of their two girls.

Per an interim consent order filed on Sept. 25 and obtained by E! News, both Jonas and Turner “are prohibited from removing their two children […] or causing the children to be removed from the jurisdictions of the United States District Courts for the Southern & Eastern Districts of New York pending further order of this Court.”

This means that the couple’s daughters cannot be removed from the greater New York City area, which in addition to the city itself also includes Hudson Valley and Long Island. Jonas and Turner were also both ordered to appear for an initial pretrial conference on Oct. 3, per the documents, with the option to appear virtually.

E! News has reached out to attorneys for both Jonas and Turner for comment but has not yet heard back.

Turner had filed a lawsuit against the Jonas Brothers member on Sept. 21 alleging that he was preventing their kids — who are both U.S. and U.K. citizens — from returning to “their habitual residence of England” by withholding their passports.

In the documents obtained by E! News, Turner explained that ahead of her and Jonas’ breakup they had planned to settle permanently with their kids in England — not Miami as he stated in his Sept. 5 divorce filing in Florida — and were in the process of purchasing a home before their marriage “very suddenly” fractured.

In response to Turner’s lawsuit, which claimed jurisdiction under the International Child Abduction Remedies Act, Jonas’ rep told E! News: “The children were not abducted. After being in Joe’s care for the past three months at the agreement of both parties, the children are currently with their mother. Sophie is making this claim only to move the divorce proceedings to the UK and to remove the children from the U.S. permanently.”

The rep further pushed back on the notion that the “Do Revenge” star had found out Jonas had filed for divorce through the media, sharing that the former couple had “multiple conversations” before the DNCE singer initiated proceedings.

Jonas’ team also shared a plea for privacy on behalf of the singer, adding, “His wish is that Sophie reconsider her harsh legal position and move forward in a more constructive and private manner. His only concern is the well-being of his children.”

One day after Jonas filed for divorce, he and Turner confirmed their decision to end their four-year marriage in a joint statement shared to their respective Instagram accounts.

“After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage,” read the Sept. 6 message. “There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”

Sophie Turner sues Joe Jonas to return their kids to England https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/sophie-turner-sues-joe-jonas-to-return-their-kids-to-england/3233489/ 3233489 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/09/jonas-1.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Originally appeared on E! Sophie Turner wants her kids to return to England.

The “Game of Thrones” alum filed court documents against estranged husband Joe Jonas on Sept. 21 “as a result of the wrongful retention” of their kids—daughter Willa, 3, and a 14-month-old daughter whose initials are listed as DMJ in the paperwork—in New York City “from their habitual residence of England.”

According to the docs, filed in New York City and obtained by E! News, Turner—a U.K. citizen—claims the wrongful retention of the children “began on or about” Sept. 20.

E! News has reached out to the Jonas Brothers singer’s rep for comment and has not yet heard back.

The documents also detail the “breakdown” of the duo’s split, stating it “happened very suddenly” after an alleged argument on Aug. 15.

“On or about September 1, 2023, the Father filed a divorce case against the Mother in Florida,” the docs state. “On or about September 5, 2023, the Mother found out through the media that the Father had filed for divorce.”

Sophie Turner & Joe Jonas: Romance Rewind

On Sept. 17, Turner and Jonas met to discuss their separation, during which she allegedly “reiterated the parties’ agreed plan for the children to return home to England that week.”

However, the filing notes that despite being set to leave the U.S. with the kids on Sept. 20, the “Do Revenge” actress has been unable to do so.

“The Father has possession of the children’s passports,” the docs allege. “He refuses to return the passports to the Mother and refuses to send the children home to England with the Mother. “

The paperwork also alleges that the family—including their two kids, who are dual U.S. and U.K. citizens—relocated to England in April and were in the process of purchasing a property in the Henley area.

Per the docs, “The parties looked forward to spending their Christmas 2023 holiday with the children, family, and friends in their new home in England.”

Turner and Jonas confirmed their split on Sept. 6 in a joint public statement.

“After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage,” they wrote in a message, posted to their respective Instagram accounts. “There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”

The Messenger was first to report Turner’s filing.

Danny Masterson's wife, Bijou Phillips, files for divorce days after he's sentenced to prison for rape https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/danny-mastersons-wife-bijou-phillips-files-for-divorce-days-after-hes-sentenced-to-prison-for-rape/3231817/ 3231817 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/09/MASTERSON-DIVORCE.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Bijou Phillips has filed for divorce from Danny Masterson, days after the former “That ’70s Show” star was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison for two rape convictions.

Phillips, a 43-year-old actor, filed a petition in Santa Barbara Superior Court on Monday to end her nearly 12-year marriage to the 47-year-old Masterson, according to the court’s website. The couple has a 9-year-old daughter. No further details were immediately available.

An attorney for Phillips did not respond to emails, and a representative for Masterson declined comment. Masterson maintains his innocence and his attorneys have said they plan to appeal, contending there were problems with evidence and constitutional issues with his conviction.

Phillips sat with other Masterson family members in court throughout two long trials, the first of which ended in a mistrial, the second of which ended in a conviction on two of three rape counts from 2003.

She wept when in court when the guilty verdicts were read on May 31, and showed similar emotion at times during his Sept. 7 sentencing hearing, when a judge gave Masterson a prison term that will require him to be held for 25 1/2 years before he is eligible for parole.

Phillips, daughter of “The Mamas and the Papas” singer-songwriter John Phillips and actor Genevieve Waite, was a model as a teenager and released an album of her own singing before shifting to acting. She has appeared in films including “Almost Famous” and television shows including “Raising Hope” and “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.”

Masterson starred with Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis and Topher Grace in the Fox retro sitcom “That ’70s Show” from 1998 until 2006. Los Angeles police announced they were investigating him for sexual assault in 2017, and he was arrested in 2020.

He was convicted of raping two women he knew through the Church of Scientology in 2003. Both testified that he put drugs in their drinks and violently raped them. Jurors could not reach a unanimous verdict on a third count alleging he raped a former girlfriend in 2001.

Kevin Costner and his ex-wife settle divorce after months-long battle https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/kevin-costner-and-his-ex-wife-settle-divorce-after-months-long-battle/3231743/ 3231743 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/09/230919-kevin-costner-getty.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner are putting on a united front after a bumpy breakup.

Four months after the “Yellowstone” actor’s wife filed to end their 18-year marriage, the exes confirmed to E! News on Sept. 19 that they “have come to an amicable and mutually agreed upon resolution of all issues pertaining to their divorce proceedings.”

The decision may come as a surprise to many who’ve followed the duo’s legal battle in recent weeks. In fact, Costner —who’s been at odds with Baumgartner over monthly child support payments for their kids Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13 — recently called the proceedings “a horrible place to be.”

“It feels so bad,” he told Access Hollywood after a court hearing Sept. 1, “we’re talking about somebody I love on the other side…I just can’t.”

Despite being on opposite ends of the courtroom, the 68-year-old Costner did share that he still has love for his 49-year-old ex.

2023 Celebrity Breakups

The former couple — who tied the knot in 2004 — first announced their divorce in May.

“It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action,” a spokesperson for Costner told E! News in a May 2 statement. “We ask that his, Christine’s and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time.”

(In addition to his kids with Baumgartner, Costner also shares Annie, 39, and Lily, 37, and Joe, 35, with first wife Cindy Silva. He and former girlfriend Bridget Rooney are also parents to 26-year-old son Liam.)

Shortly after their breakup was announced, Costner and Baumgartner’s costly legal battle began. In July, a judge temporarily ordered the Oscar winner to pay Baumgartner $129,755 per month, according to documents obtained by TMZ at the time.

However, by early September, Costner’s monthly payments were formally decreased to $63,209.

“Support greater than $63,209 per month is disguised spousal support,” Judge Thomas Anderle shared of his decision, via Fox News Digital. “Christine will have her opportunity to convince the Court that she is entitled to spousal support.”

Britney Spears breaks silence on her ‘pain' amid Sam Asghari divorce https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/britney-spears-breaks-silence-on-her-pain-amid-sam-asghari-divorce/3210835/ 3210835 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2022/06/AP22179046246792.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,222 If U seek Britney Spears‘ reaction to her divorce, here it is.

One day after her estranged husband Sam Asghari—born Hesam Asghari—confirmed their breakup, the “Toxic” singer addressed the situation with her own message.

“As everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together,” she wrote on Instagram Aug. 18. “6 years is a long time to be with someone so, I’m a little shocked but … I’m not here to explain why because its honestly nobody’s business !!! But, I couldn’t take the pain anymore honestly !!!”

The 41-year-old went on to share how she had been “playing it strong for way too long” in private and noted that what she posts on social media “may seem perfect but it’s far from reality.”

“I would love to show my emotions and tears on how I really feel but some reason I’ve always had to hide my weaknesses !!!” she continued. “You’re supposed to be loved unconditionally … not under conditions !!!! So I will be as strong as I can and do my best !!! And I’m actually doing pretty damn good !!! Anyways have a good day and don’t forget to smile !!!”

For his part, Asghari previously hinted at what went wrong, writing in an Aug. 17 Instagram Story, “S–t happens.”

“After 6 years of love and commitment to each other my wife and I have decided to end our journey together,” the Black Monday actor added. “We will hold onto the love and respect we have for each other and I wish her the best always.”

In lieu of asking for privacy, which Asghari admitted “seems rediculous [sic]” given their lives in the spotlight, the 29-year-old requested in his statement “for everyone including the media to be kind and thoughtful.”

Spears and Asghari were married for a year before reports of the pair’s separation came to light on Aug. 16. At the time, a source familiar with the situation told NBC News, “They’re separated and it’s best for Britney.”

Photos; Britney Spears’ Romantic History

Hours after the breakup news made headlines, Asghari filed for divorce. In court documents obtained by E! News, he listed their date of separation as July 28 and “irreconcilable differences” as reason for the split.

The same day, Spears posted an unrelated life update to her Instagram. Alongside a photo of herself riding a horse in a beach, the pop star wrote, “Buying a horse soon!!! So many options it’s kinda hard !!! A horse called Sophie and another called Roar??? I can’t make up my mind !!!”

The pair, who first started dating in 2016, got married in June 2022 in an intimate Los Angeles ceremony. Spears marked the occasion in a since-deleted Instagram post, in which she said she was “so nervous all morning” before walking down the aisle.

“The ceremony was a dream and the party was even better,” she captioned her post. “I think we all fell on the dance floor at least 2 times !!! I mean come on … we were all VOGUING !!! @SamAsghari I LOVE YOU !!!”

Sam Asghari breaks silence after filing for divorce from Britney Spears https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/sam-asghari-breaks-silence-after-filing-for-divorce-from-britney-spears/3209990/ 3209990 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/08/GettyImages-945547158-1.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,219 Sam Asghari is sharing his prerogative after filing for divorce from Britney Spears.

One day after the “Family Business” actor filed paperwork to legally separate from the Grammy winner after 14 months of marriage, he spoke out about their split.

“After 6 years of love and commitment to each other my wife and I have decided to end our journey together,” Asghari wrote in an Instagram Story Aug. 17. “We will hold onto the love and respect we have for each other and I wish her the best always.”

He continued, “S–t happens. Asking for privacy seems ridiculous so I will just ask for everyone including the media to be kind and thoughtful.”

As for Spears, she has yet to comment on the breakup publicly.

A source familiar with the situation confirmed the split to NBC News on Aug. 16, noting that the separation is “best for Britney.”

Asghari filed paperwork to officially end the marriage just hours after the breakup reports surfaced on Aug. 16, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split in a filing obtained by E! News.

2023 Celebrity Breakups

In the documents, the 29-year-old also asked for the “Womanizer” singer to pay spousal support and attorneys fees, but stated that he “has yet to determine the full nature and extent of the separate property assets and obligations of each party.”

E! News has reached out to Spears and Asghari’s reps and lawyers for comment but hasn’t heard back.

Spears and Asghari tied the knot in a lavish star-studded wedding ceremony in June 2022 after nearly six years of dating. At the time, a source told E! News that the “Gimme More” singer was “very emotional during the ceremony,” noting that Asghari “was wiping her tears away lovingly.” In fact, according to the insider, their nuptials were “very sweet and touching.”

The pop star herself reflected on the celebration just one day later, gushing on Instagram that she was “so nervous” that she had a panic attack but quickly “got it together.”

“The ceremony was a dream and the party was even better,” she wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post at the time. “I think we all fell on the dance floor at least 2 times !!! I mean come on … we were all VOGUING !!! @SamAsghari I LOVE YOU !!!”

Their split also comes just a little more than two months after the couple celebrated their wedding anniversary, with Asghari sharing a video montage of their ceremony set to the song “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” the exact same track that was played while Spears, 41, walked down the aisle.

“Happy 1 Year to me & my better half,” Asghari wrote in a June 2023 Instagram Story post featuring his wedding band and Britney’s diamond ring. “One year married to the woman of my dreams. Happy anniversary my Love.”

Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez break up after 2 years of marriage https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/ariana-grande-and-dalton-gomez-break-up-after-2-years-of-marriage/3188217/ 3188217 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/07/ARIANA.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Ariana Grande has a new POV.

Two years after tying the knot with Dalton Gomez, the “One Last Time” singer and the real estate agent are separating and headed towards divorce, E! News can confirm.

E! News has reached out to reps for Grande and Gomez and has not heard back.

The duo’s split comes after she was spotted without her wedding ring while attending the Wimbledon 2023 tennis championships alongside her Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey and actor Andrew Garfield on July 16.

While Grande, 30, and Gomez, 27, were last photographed in public together in January, she did publicly celebrate their wedding anniversary in May. Alongside a photo of the couple at their private ceremony—which took place at her home in Montecito, Calif., in 2021 — Grande wrote, “I love him so.”

At the time of their nuptials, a source told E! News, “It was a beautiful day and very romantic. Everyone is happy for them. It was perfect and just what Ari wanted.”

As for the ceremony, the insider described it as “tiny and intimate,” and noted that the guest list included only close family and friends. “There was a lot of love,” the source told E! News, “and everyone is really happy.”

Ariana Grande’s Wedding Album With Dalton Gomez

Grande and Gomez first sparked romance rumors in early 2020 but didn’t officially confirm their relationship until he appeared in the music video for her and Justin Bieber’s song “Stuck With U” in May of that year.

“They run in the same circle,” a source close to the singer told E! News at the time, which was the height of the coronavirus pandemic. “He used to be a dancer and they have many mutual friends. She’s gotten to know him quickly with the quarantine. They’ve been spending a lot of one-on-one time at home.”

Gomez, a real estate broker, proposed to Grande in December 2020 after 10 months of dating. Alongside photos of her stunning diamond ring, Grande wrote on Instagram at the time, “forever n then some.”

Amid the engagement celebrations, one insider told E! News, “It’s a happy time. Everyone is happy, families are happy. They could not be more excited.”

E! News also exclusively learned details about Gomez’s process designing the ring for Grande.

“Dalton was involved in every step of the selection process through FaceTime and Zoom since he was on the west coast and I was here in my office in New York. He was very, very specific about what he wanted,” jeweler Jack Solow shared. “He had very strong feelings about how he wanted this to look, a contemporary kind of way.”

“It was his idea to do the diamond on an angle,” Solow noted, “and he said to me we had to incorporate a pearl into the finished piece because it is very sentimentally special, the element of a pearl is very, very sentimentally special to Ariana. He wanted to include that in the ring.”

To look back at Grande and Gomez’s relationship one last time, keep reading…

The pair confirms their relationship in May and makes their first public appearance in Ariana and Justin Bieber’s music video for “Stuck With U.”

Since the duo began dating in early 2020, they haven’t really been seen in public. However, in mid-May, they were spotted out and about in Los Angeles, Calif. Making their afternoon hang-out cuter? They wore matching face masks.

The pop star took her romance to the next level after making things IG official in June. At the time, the singer celebrated her birthday early by sharing rare photos of herself with Dalton and her dogs. A separate source told E! News the pair met through mutual friends, explaining, “They run in the same circle… She’s gotten to know him quickly with the quarantine. They’ve been spending a lot of one-on-one time at home.”

In October, a source told E! News the couple was still going strong. “Ariana is still madly in love with Dalton and is head over heels,” the source raved. “It’s a very healthy relationship. They love to be ‘normal’ and Ari loves that he is very down to earth. He balances her out from the crazy industry she is in. They spend a lot of time hanging out at her house being low-key.”

The “Positions” singer packed on the PDA with her beau in early December. “some life stuff,” she wrote about her relationship update.

The “7 Rings” singer shared the exciting news that she and the real estate broker were engaged. “forever n then some,” she expressed on Instagram on Dec. 20.

‘Real Housewives' star Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann Call Off Divorce 2 Months After Filing https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/real-housewives-star-kim-zolciak-and-kroy-biermann-call-off-divorce-2-months-after-filing/3183019/ 3183019 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/05/Kim-Zolciak-Kroy-Biermann-Break-Up.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,200 Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann are giving their marriage another chance.

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum filed papers July 7 to dismiss their divorce case, according to Georgia court documents obtained by E! News. Meanwhile, the former NFL star’s attorney, Marlys A. Bergstrom, told E! News that “the parties are dismissing their divorce action and attempting a reconciliation.”

The news comes days after the former “Don’t Be Tardy” star, 45, and the athlete, 37, were photographed walking to church together with their four younger kids — Kroy Biermann Jr., 12, Kash Biermann, 10, and 9-year-old twins Kaia Biermann and Kane Biermann.

The pair both filed for divorce May 8, stating that their 11-year marriage is “irretrievably broken.” In her petition, Zolciak sought primary physical and joint legal custody of their minor children. However, in his filing, Biermann asked for sole physical and legal custody of the kids.

Most Expensive Celeb Divorces

Their divorce proceedings turned messier a week later when Zolciak filed a motion requesting that her ex undergo drug testing, alleging that she has seen her husband “smoking marijuana, and she has serious concerns for the safety and well-being” of their children, according to court documents. E! News reached out to Biermann’s attorney for comment at the time and did not hear back.

But despite the growing acrimony, the pair’s elder daughters Brielle Biermann, 26, and Ariana Biermann, 21, honored their dad on Father’s Day last month. “Happy Father’s Day,” Ariana wrote on her Instagram Story, along with a photo of herself and Brielle hugging Kroy. “I love you.”

In her own IG tribute, Brielle shared a photo of herself and the athlete hugging, writing, “Happy Father’s Day!”

On the June 18 holiday, Biermann shared a pic of himself with his and Zolciak’s four youngest kids biking together. “I hope ALL of the Fathers out there had as good a day as I had!!” he captioned the photo. “Stay strong, it is a VITAL role to fill!”

Kevin Costner's estranged wife is requesting $248K a month for child support amid divorce https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/kevin-costners-estranged-wife-is-requesting-248k-a-month-for-child-support-amid-divorce/3166913/ 3166913 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/06/GettyImages-1238818581.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,201 A new court filing from the estranged wife of Kevin Costner is asking the actor to provide $248,000 a month in child support for their three teenage children.

In a declaration filed on June 16 to Santa Barbara County Superior Court and obtained by NBC News, a signed, first person declaration from Christine Baumgartner states that she also wants Costner to continue covering the cost of their kids’ private school tuition, extracurriculars and health care expenses.

Costner and Baumgartner share three children: Cayden, 16; Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13.

In her declaration, Baumgartner states that she has no income and has been a stay-at-home parent since welcoming Cayden in 2007.

She says that their “marital lifestyle, including that of the children, was consistent with Kevin’s longterm exceedingly high-income.”

“I realize that our lifestyle is extraordinary. I appreciate how very blessed we are to live this way,” she wrote. “It’s important to not only to provide a warm and comfortable home for our children but to also teach them family values and gratitude.”

In a personal declaration filed on June 9, Costner said that Baumgartner has refused to move out of his home since filing for divorce on May 1, 2023. He said that prior to getting married, Baumgartner and he both signed a prenuptial agreement that codified that their Santa Barbara-area home was his property and a premarital asset.

In a separate memo filed by her legal team also on June 16, Baumgartner’s legal team notes that the children are used to an “exceptionally high” standard of living. The court documents cite things like the home the children grew up in — which is three separate houses that have “effectively been combined into one large living space” with a private oceanfront beach, an infinity pool and their own bedrooms — and extensive travel and parties.

Baumgartner’s forensic accountant determined from the former couple’s shared banking information that Costner’s average monthly cash flow is $1,536,808.

Her legal team cites California Family Code section 4053, which states that children should “share in the standard of living of both parents” and acknowledges that child support may “improve the standard of living of the custodial household to improve the lives of the children.”

“The child support that Christine is requesting may seem large, but her request is in accord with California statutory and case law,” Baumgartner’s team wrote in the June 16 filing. “This is precisely the type of case that demands an upward deviation so that the children will at least approach the standard of living of their father.”

In Costner’s June 9 filing, his legal team had noted that he had paid Baumgartner $100,000 upon their marriage and another $100,000 on their first anniversary, per their prenuptial agreement, and had also paid her the prenup’s required $1,000,000 after she filed for divorce.

Baumgartner’s filings on June 16 state that she has not touched the money Costner paid her pursuant to their prenup.

“I believe that Kevin’s goal is to get me to tap into this money, so he can argue that I’ve waived my right to challenge the Premarital Agreement,” she wrote, adding that she “cannot make this concession (and does) not accept payment.”

She said she’d instructed their family accountant to remove the funds from her account, but he had not done so.

In the June 16 filings, Baumgartner also requested Costner advance an additional $350,000 in attorney’s fees and $150,000 in forensic accounting costs.

Costner’s team did not immediately respond to TODAY.com’s request for comment on June 21. Baumgartner’s legal team declined to comment.

Kim Zolciak drops her ex's last name from Instagram and teases a ‘RHOA' return https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/kim-zolciak-drops-her-exs-last-name-from-instagram-and-teases-a-rhoa-return/3158994/ 3158994 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/06/Kim-Zolciak-RHOA.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Kim Zolciak-Biermann is teasing a return to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” but this time with a different name.

Amid the 45-year-old’s divorce from former husband and Atlanta Falcons player Kroy Biermann, 37, the reality television star has dropped her soon-to-be ex-husband’s last name from her Instagram handle, sharing a new post featuring some “RHOA” stars.

On June 9, Zolciak posted two Instagram photos of herself posing with “RHOA” alums Lisa Wu, Shereé Whitfield and DeShawn Snow, adding the caption “See you soon.”

She added a film camera emoji, while tagging Bravo TV and including the hashtag #RHOA.

The mother of six had previously stepped away from being a full-time member of the “Real Housewives” series in Season 5, and then again in Season 10, following a brief appearance as a friend of the show.

Zolciak’s post comes a little over a month after her husband filed for divorce after 12 years of marriage, according to a petition obtained by TODAY.com.

The former couple met in May 2010 while she was attending a Dancing with Atlanta Stars charity event. Fans were able to see their relationship develop first-hand on “RHOA” and continue on in their own show, “Don’t Be Tardy,” which followed their marriage and personal lives for eight seasons.

Zolciak and Biermann share children Kroy “KJ” Jagger, Kash Kade, Kaia Rose and Kane Ren, all of whom are in the care of Biermann, according to court documents. He is reportedly seeking sole custody.

Andy Cohen shared his thoughts on the split during a May episode of his SiriusXM program “Andy Cohen Live,” saying he was “very surprised” by the announcement.

“That was not the news I ever expected to get. They seemed so much in love and just together. I mean, they were a couple that — yeah, I thought they were in it for the long haul,” Cohen said, adding at the time that he reached out to Zolciak to let her know he was thinking of her.

“Texted a little bit with Kim yesterday, sent my condolences because it’s a sad thing,” Cohen said. “They have kids and that was just a couple that seemed very much in love.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger Gets Honest About Maria Shriver Divorce: ‘It Was My Failure' https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/arnold-schwarzenegger-gets-honest-about-maria-shriver-divorce-it-was-my-failure/3143446/ 3143446 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2021/12/arnoldmaria.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Life imitates art in Arnold Schwarzenegger’s latest show “Furbar,” in which he plays a divorced CIA operative who was unfaithful to his wife. However, the 75-year-old action star says there are still some differences when it comes to his past marriage to Maria Shriver.

Schwarzenegger got candid about his divorce, calling it “my failure,” in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter published May 16.

“We were laughing about it — it feels like it’s a documentary,” Schwarzenegger said about his character being divorced because he cheated. “The difference is, in the show, he doesn’t consider it cheating because (seducing CIA assets) was part of his profession. His wife moved on because he never was home, and now he has this dilemma with the daughter because she has the same job and it’s going to screw up her relationship, too.” (In “Furber,” Schwarzenegger’s character is about to retire but is forced to complete one last mission. During the task, he discovers that his daughter also secretly works for the CIA.)

Schwarzenegger and Shriver got married in 1986 and were together for 25 years before she filed for divorce in 2011. Their divorce was finalized in 2021.

At that time, it was revealed that “The Terminator” star fathered a child, now-25-year-old Joseph Baena, with his housekeeper. Schwarzenegger and Shriver share four children together: Katherine, Christina, Patrick and Christopher.

“But in (my real-life marriage to Shriver), it was my f—up. It was my failure,” Schwarzenegger said. “Also, in the show, he’s deep down still in love with his wife.”

Schwarzenegger added that he doesn’t miss being married, but did share that his divorce “was very, very difficult in the beginning.”

“Eventually, you move on. I have a wonderful girlfriend, (physical therapist) Heather Milligan, who is very successful. I’m really proud of her, and I love her,” he continued. “At the same time, I love my wife. She and I are really good friends and very close, and we are very proud of the way we raised our kids.”

The former governor of California noted that even though they had their difficulties, they co-parent and spend holidays together as a family.

“Even though we had this drama, we did Easter together, Mother’s Day together, the Christmases together, all birthdays — everything together,” he shared. “If there’s Oscars for how to handle divorce, Maria and I should get it for having the least amount of impact on the kids. The sweetness and kindness you see in them, that’s from my wife. The discipline and work ethic is from me.”

The “Twins” star has previously called his divorce from Shriver his “biggest failure.”

“I had personal setbacks, but this was, without any doubt, the biggest setback and the biggest failure,” he told Howard Stern on his SiriusXM radio show in 2015. “Without any doubt. Not only failure, but you feel like, ‘I’m to blame for it. It was me that screwed up.’ And you can’t point the finger at anyone else. So yeah, I was disappointed in it. It’s always easy to be smart in hindsight. The thing was, how do you make the best of that situation?”

At the time, he also shared how going to marriage counseling further complicated things for him.

“It was the biggest mistake I’ve ever made,’’ he said. “That guy was so full of s—. He said more crap and more nonsense. It was absolutely counterproductive to our future relationship.”

As for Shriver, in February of this year, the TODAY special anchor shared how she visited a convent after her split from Schwarzenegger.

“I went to a convent, a cloistered convent, and to be in silence and look for advice,” Shriver said during the Feb. 6 episode of the “Making Space with Hoda Kotb” podcast. “And the reverend mother there … I actually have written about this but I — I haven’t shared it. She said, ‘I think you came here looking for permission.’”

“She goes, ‘You can’t come live here … but you do have permission to go out and become Maria,’” Shriver continued, later adding, “I had never given myself permission to — to feel, to be vulnerable, to be weak, to be brought to my knees. And the world did it to me. And then I was like, ‘OK, God, let’s go.’”

Real Housewives' Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann Break Up After 11 Years of Marriage https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/real-housewives-kim-zolciak-and-kroy-biermann-break-up-after-11-years-of-marriage/3136673/ 3136673 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/05/Kim-Zolciak-Kroy-Biermann-Break-Up.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,200 This ring may just no longer mean a thing.

After 11 years of marriage, Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak has filed for divorce from former NFL player Kroy Biermann, according to documents obtained by TMZ. The couple’s date of separation, per the outlet, was listed as April 30. The Bravolebrity said the marriage is “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation,” according to the docs obtained by TMZ.

Kim—who shares Kroy Jr., 11, Kash, 10, and 9-year-old twins Kane and Kaia with Kroy, and is also mom to Brielle, 25, and Ariana, 21—is also requesting primary physical custody of the kids and joint legal custody.

Additionally, TMZ, citing court docs, also reports that the reality star wants spousal support and is hoping to legally restore her maiden name.

E! News has reached out to Kim and Kroy’s reps for comment and has not heard back.

2023 Celebrity Breakups

In 2010, the couple’s love story began during season three of RHOA, with the two meeting at a charity event on-camera. More than a year after they first crossed paths, the pair exchanged vows in November 2011, leading to their own spinoff, Don’t Be Tardy…, which lasted for eight seasons and ended in the year 2020.

Just six months ago, Kim and Kroy reflected on what they considered essential secrets to their long-term relationship.

“Choosing to love that person day in and day out, I think it’s a choice,” Kim exclusively told E! News in November, “and a lot of times people are just so quick to throw in the towel.”

Though fans may assume reality TV can complicate matters, Kroy felt like they could push through anything.

“When things get tough, people don’t want to stay true to their vows and stay true to their partner,” he said. “They’d rather just say screw it and try it on the next one, but you got to hold true to your promises that you gave that person when you were standing in front of your friends and family.”

Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict Finalize Divorce 6 Months After Announcing Breakup https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/tia-mowry-and-cory-hardrict-finalize-divorce-6-months-after-announcing-breakup/3127660/ 3127660 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/04/GettyImages-1469479212.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,220 Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict can officially update their relationship status.

Six months after the “Seventeen Again” alum filed for divorce from the “All American: Homecoming” star after 14 years of marriage, their split has been finalized.

According to documents obtained by E! News, the former couple “entered into a written agreement regarding their property and their marriage or domestic partnership rights, including support.”

As far as their custody agreement goes, the pair—who share son Cree, 11, and daughter Cairo, 4—have upheld their previous arrangement. In her October filing, Mowry, 44, requested legal and physical joint custody, and asked to terminate the court’s ability to award spousal support, citing a premarital agreement.

Last October, the “Sister, Sister” alum shared she and Hardrict, 43, “decided to go our separate ways.”

“These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness,” she wrote, in part, in an Oct. 4 Instagram post. “We will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children.”

2023 Celebrity Breakups

The actress added, “I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives.”

The finalization also comes just days after the “Twitches” star opened up about navigating life post-split.

“If I’m being completely honest with you all, these last few months have been some of the hardest of my life,” she wrote alongside an April 21 social media post featuring their two children. “There’s no telling what direction life is going to take you and nothing but one thing is ever certain: the love I have for these two.”

As Mowry noted, “They are the reason I continue to push myself every day to work harder. Even when the going gets tough, I do everything for my kids, for their future, and for the generations to come.”

Country singer Jimmie Allen and wife, Alexis “Lexi” Allen, have broken up two years after their wedding, they said in matching statements on Instagram over the weekend.

The couple — who share daughters Naomi, 3, and Zara, 18 months — also revealed they are expecting their third child together amid the split. Allen is also dad to son Aadyn, 8, from a previous relationship.

“After much thought and reflection in recent months, Lex & I have made the decision to separate,” Allen said. “As we navigate this life change, we can also share that we will be welcoming another child together later this year.”

They said they are planning to work together on co-parenting their children.

“Our number one priority is and always will be ensuring that our children are healthy, happy and loved, and we remain committed to coparenting with love and respect for one another,” both continued. “In light [of] our growing family, we respectfully request privacy during this time.”

Jimmie Allen’s 2022 Bettie James Fest

Jimmie and Alexis got engaged at Walt Disney World in 2019 and welcomed their first child together in 2020, which coincided with another big moment in his musical career.

“I thought getting a No. 1 was going to be the best part of my day, but then my daughter, Naomi, was born,” Allen told “The Ty Bentli Show” at the time, People reported. The “Best Shot” artist added that they chose her middle name, Bettie, in honor of his grandmother.

Allen and Alexis went on to get married in 2021, after a delay due to the pandemic.

“With Alexis being from my hometown, it is like always having a piece of home with me. We had an immediate connection,” Allen previously told People. “It was like we’d always known each other.”

Shannen Doherty Files for Divorce From Husband Kurt Iswarienko After 11 Years https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/shannen-doherty-files-for-divorce-from-husband-kurt-iswarienko-after-11-years/3124986/ 3124986 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/04/GettyImages-1436452177-e1682204268244.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,190 Shannen Doherty has called it quits with Kurt Iswarienko.

The “Beverly Hills, 90210” actress filed for divorce from the photographer after 11 years of marriage, according to the court filing obtained by TMZ on April 21. Doherty listed January 2023 as the date of separation.

“Divorce is the last thing Shannen wanted,” her rep, Leslie Sloane, told TMZ in a statement. “Unfortunately, she felt she was left with no other option.”

In the wake of the breakup news, Doherty also shared a cryptic quote on her Instagram reading: “The only people who deserve to be in your life are the ones who treat you with love, kindness and total respect.”

Doherty, 52, and Iswarienko, 48, tied the knot in Malibu, Calif., on Oct. 15, 2011. The nuptials were filmed for the finale of the couple’s WE tv reality series “Shannen Says,” which documented their wedding planning journey.

“I’ve definitely found my soulmate,” she told E! News in 2012. “I’ve found my partner. He’s a good one — and it’s about time.”

2023 Celebrity Breakups

And when Doherty was undergoing treatment for breast cancer, which she was diagnosed with in 2015, she was open about how Iswarienko was supporting her during the difficult time.

“He loves me with pink hair or no hair,” she captioned an August 2016 picture of herself in a magenta wig while snuggling with her husband. “I’m blessed to have such a strong support team starting with @kurtiswarienko who loves me more every second. Can’t imagine my life without him.”

The “Charmed” alum underwent a mastectomy and rounds of chemotherapy before going into remission in 2017. However, two years later, Doherty shared the news that the cancer had returned and progressed to stage four.

At the time, Doherty said she was focusing on the silver lining of the diagnosis. “Cancer solidified us,” Doherty told People of her marriage to Iswarienko in 2019. “Kurt and I have a much deeper appreciation for each other now.”

Explaining how the “last time we had a big argument was pre-cancer,” Doherty noted to the outlet, “It’s not that our marriage wasn’t good before. But we were definitely going through some growing pains.”

Prior to her relationship with Iswarienko, Doherty was married to Rick Salomon from 2002 to 2003 and Ashley Hamilton from 1993 to 1994.

E! News has reached out to Doherty and Iswarienko’s reps for comment but hasn’t heard back.

Olivia Wilde Slams Leaked Custody Papers in Jason Sudeikis Case https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/olivia-wilde-slams-leaked-custody-papers-in-jason-sudeikis-case/3103796/ 3103796 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2022/08/OliviaWildeJasonSudeikis82422.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Olivia Wilde is looking to keep things private.

After the “Don’t Worry Darling” star’s legal documents — from her and ex Jason Sudeikis‘ custody battle over their two kids Otis, 8, Daisy, 6 — were leaked to the public, Wilde is clapping back.

The 39-year-old’s rep told E! News in a statement March 24: “The sealed and private documents that were leaked today are the utmost breach of trust and never intended for public consumption. This private family matter, involving young children, has continued to be a tabloid fixture and the press coverage dating back a year has been relentless and traumatic.”

The statement concluded, “Olivia only continues to be focused on co-parenting her children and moving past this difficult period swiftly and drama free.”

The legal documents reportedly contained information that a judge rejected Sudeikis’ request to have the case moved from Los Angeles to New York, per TMZ. E! News has not been able to verify the ruling as the records are sealed.

E! News reached out to Sudeikis’ rep for comment but hasn’t heard back.

Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde’s Public Outings

The leaked papers come two months after the “Book Smart” director and “Horrible Bosses” actor were photographed hugging it out after attending a meeting together.

At the time, it appeared Wilde and Sudeikis, 47 — who were together for almost 10 years before calling it quits in November 2020 — were nothing short of friendly exes. However, their embrace wasn’t the first time the former couple put on a united front over the past year, as the two also set the record straight in the aftermath of allegations from their children’s former nanny.

In October 2022, the Daily Mail published an interview with the unidentified nanny, that detailed the exes’ allegedly tumultuous relationship, along with a claim that they had fired her from her position without severance pay.

She also claimed that the “Ted Lasso” star was upset that his ex was bringing a special salad dressing to her then-boyfriend Harry Styles — who she dated for two years after meeting on the set of the 2022 film “Don’t Worry Darling” in 2020.

But Wilde and Sudeikis were not having it. In a response to the accusations, they released their own joint statement to E! News: “As parents, it is incredibly upsetting to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to make such false and scurrilous accusations about us publicly.”

The statement also alleged that the woman in question launched a “now 18 month long campaign of harassing us, as well as loved ones, close friends and colleagues,” and the claims have “reached its unfortunate apex.”

Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz Reflects on Struggle With Fame After Ashlee Simpson Divorce: ‘My Life Had Blown Up' https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/pete-wentz-ashlee-simpson-divorce/3103198/ 3103198 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/03/GettyImages-528292057.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,248 Pete Wentz is getting candid about the fallout that comes from fame.

The Fall Out Boy bassist recently recalled the low moments of his life following his and Ashlee Simpson‘s 2011 divorce after three years of marriage, noting that the public interest around this period in his life was difficult for him.

“My life had blown up completely,” Wentz explained during an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe published on March 23. “I got divorced, realized I didn’t really like how famous I was. Didn’t love who I was.”

And looking back at the way the group was hounded by photographers following their rise to stardom in the mid-aughts — specifically recalling an incident at producer Neal Avron’s house ahead of the release of their fourth studio album “Folie à Deux” — Wentz shared he was glad when the band went on hiatus the following year.

“It’s weird to look back on now,” he told Lowe. “Paparazzi broke down Neal’s gate to his house when we were working on ‘Folie.’ It was like that degree of chaos … I think that, for me, I needed to take time to just become a real person. I didn’t like any of that.”

SEE: Cutest Pics of Ashlee Simpson-Ross and Evan Ross’ Kids

During that hiatus, Wentz was able to focus solely on raising his and Simpson’s son Bronx, who is now 14.

“Here’s what it really was: At 31, we’d had all these great years as a band, and then we took time off, and I basically became Mr. Mom,” he said on “The Howard Stern Show” in 2015. “I had the beard, the flannel shirt. I didn’t know what my identity was. That factored in. When your identity is what you do, it’s hard when you stop doing it.”

But amid his divorce from the “Pieces of Me” singer and the band’s hiatus, Wentz confessed he fell into a cycle of depression.

“I think it was a combination of all these factors at once, including being too young,” he told host Howard Stern. “And we were doing this all in the public eye, which as you know, it doesn’t help, because you have people scrutinizing everything you do.”

However, since their split, the two have both found love again and expanded their families, with Simpson and husband Evan Ross — who tied the knot in 2014 — welcoming daughter Jagger Snow, 7, and son Ziggy Blue, 2. Wentz and his wife Meagan Camper share son Saint Lazslo, 8, and daughter Marvel Jane, 4.

And in the decade since Simpson and Wentz called it quits, they’ve found a way to co-parent amicably.

“I think it’s important to listen and to give people balance,” the Grammy nominee told Us Weekly in 2019.

Gisele Bündchen Speaks Out for First Time Since Divorce: ‘It's Not So Black and White' https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/gisele-bundchen-speaks-out-for-first-time-since-divorce-its-not-so-black-and-white/3101193/ 3101193 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/03/giselle.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Gisele Bündchen is opening up about her split from Tom Brady in a candid new interview.

Six weeks after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback announced his re-retirement from the NFL and nearly five months after he and Bündchen finalized their divorce, the Brazilian supermodel tells Vanity Fair, “it’s like a death and a rebirth.”

“It’s tough because you imagine your life was going to be a certain way, and you did everything you could, you know?” she said.

The comments featured in the 42-year-old’s Vanity Fair cover story mark her first public remarks about the breakup of her 13-year marriage to Brady since she shared a statement on social media immediately following their divorce announcement.

“With much gratitude for our time together, Tom and I have amicably finalized our divorce,” she wrote in an Oct. 28 post on her Instagram story. “My priority has always been and will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart. We will continue co-parenting to give them the love, care and attention they greatly deserve.”

Bündchen added, “The decision to end a marriage is never easy but we have grown apart and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always.”

There were rumors that the couple split due to Brady’s choice to un-retire from the NFL in March 2022, only 40 days after announcing his initial decision to step away from professional football.

“What’s been said is one piece of a much bigger puzzle. It’s not so black and white,” Bündchen told Vanity Fair in response to being asked if his un-retirement played a role.

“When I was 26 years old and he was 29 years old, we met, we wanted a family, we wanted things together. As time goes by, we realize that we just wanted different things, and now we have a choice to make.”

Bündchen added that she remains his biggest cheerleader regardless of their martial status.

“If there’s one person I want to be the happiest in the world, it’s him, believe me,” she said.

Bündchen and Brady, who began dating 16 years ago and wed in 2009, have two children together: son Benjamin, 13, and daughter Vivian, 10. She revealed to Vanity Fair that Benjamin and Vivian were born in their Boston home via water birth. Bündchen was also stepmother to Brady’s son Jack, 15, whom he shares with actor Bridget Moynahan. Bündchen told Vanity Fair that she has a “great relationship” with Moynahan and learned how to navigate custody agreements with Brady based off of their years being co-parents to Jack.

Since persuing those separate chapters, the former couple haven’t made any appearances together — except in a brief exchange on Instagram.

On Dec. 5, Brady shared a photo of himself hugging their kids, accompanied by a message in honor of Vivian’s 10th birthday.

“We adore you and your beautiful heart!” he wrote. “You bring so much joy to our life! We love you.”

Gisele replied to the post with a simple red heart emoji.

Vanity Fair’s April 2023 issue hits newsstands on April 4.

Kelly Clarkson Shares Her Kids' Heartbreaking Reaction to Brandon Blackstock Divorce https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/kelly-clarkson-shares-her-kids-heartbreaking-reaction-to-brandon-blackstock-divorce/3095701/ 3095701 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/03/clarkson.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Kelly Clarkson isn’t afraid to share the reality of her divorce.

The “Because of You” singer recently reflected on her split from Brandon Blackstock, the father of her children River, 8, and Remington, 6. Clarkson said that River and Remington sometimes tell her the heartbreaking truth of how they feel about their parents’ divorce.

“I literally ask my kids every night when we’re snuggling, ‘Are you happy? And if you’re not, what could make you happier?'” Clarkson explained during the March 13 episode of “The Angie Martinez IRL Podcast.” “Sometimes they’ll say, especially the past two years, and it kills me and I want them to be honest, so I don’t ever say, ‘Oh god, don’t tell me that,’ but a lot of times it would be like, ‘You know, I’m just really sad. I wish mommy and daddy were in the same house.'”

Explaining that “they’re really honest about it,” Clarkson shared why she’s glad they’re candid: “I’m raising that kind of individual. I want you to be honest with me.”

While hearing that from her children may be hard, Clarkson said she can understand her little ones’ feelings because she grew up in a similar situation.

“I just sit there and I’m like, ‘I get it. I’m from a divorced family as well. I get it. That sucks. But we’re going to work it out. And you are so loved by both of us,'” Clarkson noted. “I think communicating with them and not treating them—not treating them like an adult, because they’re not—but not treating them like a child. They’re not small feelings. Those are huge feelings, and those are huge emotions.”

Clarkson and Blackstock split in June 2020 after seven years of marriage. The Voice star, who filed for the divorce, cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their breakup at the time. According to court documents obtained by E! News, the former couple officially finalized their divorce in March 2022.

Not only do Clarkson’s children tell her how they feel about the dynamic, but they also pick her brain as well.

“My kids ask me all the time, ‘So you don’t love him anymore?'” Clarkson shared. “I’m like, ‘No, I don’t know if that goes away.'”

As for new love in the future, Clarkson said that she is open to romance, but has firm plans to never marry again.

“I won’t be getting married,” the musician declared. “In my life, I’ve been through a couple of divorces in my own family as a kid. I would love to fall in love. I would love to find someone and fall in love and do that thing, but I have children and that’s why I say [that.]”

Clarifying that she’s not fully “against marriage,” Clarkson said she simply has her children in mind.

“I didn’t have the most positive experience with step-situations and re-marrying and I didn’t have the most positive situation growing up,” she said. “I will not do that to my children. I would love to fall in love, but I don’t want another dude in my house with my children.”

Kelsea Ballerini's Ex-Husband Responds to Her Recent Comments About Their Marriage https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/kelsea-ballerinis-ex-husband-responds-to-her-recent-comments-about-their-marriage/3080016/ 3080016 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/02/GettyImages-1187025361.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,200 Kelsea Ballerini opened up about her former marriage in a raw new interview, and her ex-husband, Morgan Evans, doesn’t seem too thrilled about it.

In the latest episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Ballerini, 29, looks back on their nearly five-year marriage, and reveals that they were in therapy for years before breaking up.

In response to claims that Ballerini made during the interview, the Australian singer-songwriter posted his own thoughts on TikTok Tuesday.

“It’s really sad for me to see this person, who I spent so much of my life with, and loved with all my heart, saying things that aren’t reality and that leave out what really happened,” Evans wrote.

The 37-year-old then asked the public to be respectful of his ex-wife.

“She knows I’m not the type of guy to speak on those things publicly. If this is what she needs to heal, I hope it helps,” he said. “All I ask is that if you’re on my pages, please don’t be mean. Don’t be mean to Kelsea, don’t be mean to each other. Life’s too short.”

The musicians got engaged after less than a year of dating and were married in 2017. They officially split in 2022. In her interview, Ballerini admitted that she can now see some red flags as she reflects on the early days of their relationship.

“At 22, I was much quieter. I didn’t have an opinion on much. I’m a people pleaser to my core and I think that that was the thing that was in the driver’s seat,” she said. “I was a mirror back to whoever was in front of me and I was really good at being whoever people needed me to be and then I grew up.”

The singer said that Evans “felt steady” to her as her life was changing a lot early on in her career. But she also explained that she never really thought she’d get married since her parents had a “nasty” divorce. Still, Ballerini said she felt attracted to the “security” that her ex offered since he came from a solid family.

Looking back on wedding day, the singer said that she wasn’t really focused on herself.

“I just wanted everyone to have a nice time. I didn’t want to have a wedding,” she said. “I think at the end of the day, I didn’t really want to get married. I did in that moment but fundamentally, I think from the trauma that I had as a kid, I didn’t. And then I think I told myself that I did and I take full responsibility for that narrative.”

Ballerini claimed that she made more of an effort to keep her marriage going amid her and Evans’ busy schedules, and admitted that she became “resentful” of him.

The singer said she would often sleep on the couch when they were in the middle of a disagreement, but said they would never have loud, angry fights.

“There were separations, there was years of couples therapy. There was, like, many a night of sleeping on the couch. This was just a relationship that took work for a long time,” she said.

Ballerini then described one night where she slept on the couch.

“We hadn’t seen each other, there was a lack of effort to see each other. I was getting resentful because any time we did see each other, I felt like I was carrying that load, and I was tired,” she said. “I was just tired of showing up in that way all the time and not feeling like I was seen or matched.”

The singer said she truly realized that she and Evans weren’t on the same page when she knew she wasn’t ready to have kids and he was. She said she brought up the idea of divorce and hasn’t spoken to Evans since that moment.

Looking back on their breakup, the 29-year-old acknowledged that it takes two to tango.

“I don’t pin the whole downfall on him at all. I was not perfect, he was not perfect, it was not perfect,” she said.

Ballerini said the breakup helped her realize the importance of female friendships and said her girlfriends helped her through the painful experience. She also learned more about herself.

“I think I got married because of my parents. I think I got divorced because of me,” she said. “I think me choosing to get out of that marriage was me kind of rewriting what divorce looks like and what it means.”

Ballerini’s fans have recently been wondering if she’s dating “Outer Banks” star Chase Stokes after photos of the pair circulated on social media. When asked if she’s single during her interview, the star simply said, “No.”

“I’m just vibing,” she said coyly.

The singer was then asked if she thought about how her ex would react to seeing the photos of her with a new man.

“No, because I’m not married to him anymore and I don’t need to care about his feelings anymore. And I mean that with all the respect in the world. But his journey is not mine anymore,” she said.

The singer acknowledged that she knows she will likely be criticized for this opinion, but explained her stance more.

“I hope that he’s protected from whatever he needs to be protected from seeing. I hope he has people in his life that help him do that. That is not my job,” she said.

Fox News' Julie Banderas Announces Divorce on TV During Valentine's Day Segment https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/fox-news-julie-banderas-announces-divorce-on-tv-during-valentines-day-segment/3071159/ 3071159 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2023/02/GettyImages-488706285-e1676313875300.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,206 Er, Happy Valentine’s Day?

On Feb. 9, Fox News anchor Julie Banderas made a personal announcement on TV about her love life. During a Valentine’s Day segment on the cable network’s show “Gutfeld!,” the newswoman shared that she is parting ways with Andrew Sansone, her husband of 13 years and father of their three children.

“I’m getting a divorce,” she said. “I am going to say it right here for the first time. Thank you everyone. Congratulations are in order. That was breaking news.”

Sansone has not publicly commented on the divorce or Banderas’ announcement.

Banderas’ announcement came up during a discussion about the Feb. 14 holiday, of which she is not a fan. “F— Valentine’s Day,” she declared. “It is stupid. Even when I was married, I didn’t get s—.”

Hours before her divorce was revealed on “Gutfeld!,” she dropped a hint on Twitter. “Tune into @Gutfeldfox tonight at 11pm ET,” she wrote. “I have a little announcement at the end of the show. (During the Valentines Day segment ironically).”

And after the segment, Banderas made it clear on social media her announcement was the real deal. When a Twitter user wrote, “I imagine that @JulieBanderas is going to say she was kidding on social media later tonight,” Banderas wrote back, “I wasn’t kidding.”

But that wasn’t the only comment Banderas posted about the matter. On Feb. 10, another user penned, “They say your [sic] not an adult until you have been divorced once. Good luck going forward, in the end you’ll wish you had done it sooner.” Banderas replied, “Yeah, like 13 years ago.”

Kendall Jenner and Devin Booker Quietly Break Up Again https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/kendall-jenner-and-devin-booker-quietly-break-up-again/3002798/ 3002798 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2022/11/GettyImages-1422959190-e1669066133495.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,167 After another shot at love, Kendall Jenner and Devin Booker have called it quits.

The supermodel, 27, and the NBA player, 26, broke up last month, a source tells E! News, with the insider adding that “it was due to their busy schedules.”

E! News has reached out to reps for Jenner and Booker.

It’s no secret that Jenner and Booker’s relationship has been on and off over the last year. In fact, the duo briefly split in June after hitting a rough patch. By the following month, however, the stars were back on

“They worked out their issues and decided they want to move forward and be together,” a separate source told E! News in July. “They moved on and it’s going really well.”

The “Kardashians” star and the Phoenix Suns shooting guard — who first started dating in 2020 — even enjoyed a trip to Gozzer Ranch Golf & Lake Club in Idaho later in the summer, with a third source telling E! News at the time, “Kendall loves going there with Devin and being out on the water.”

In September, the pair put on a united front in New York City, attending the Marni Spring 2023 ready-to-wear runway show and the 2022 U.S. Open together.

And in late October, Jenner gave Bookr a shout-out on social media in honor of his special day. Alongside a photo of the duo and a heart emoji, the 818 Tequila founder wrote, “birthday boy.”

So, despite their breakup, it seems like these two are still on good terms.

And they’re both keeping busy following their split, with Booker’s basketball season in full swing and Jenner’s modeling career taking her around the globe.

However, Jenner did find time for a night out with her friends recently, stepping out with sister Kylie Jenner and BFF Hailey Bieber to attend ex-boyfriend Harry Styles‘ concert in Los Angeles. In videos shared to social media, the trio could be seen singing and dancing along during the newly single “Adore You” artist’s show.

Styles, who’s been linked to Jenner on and off since 2013, recently called it quits with girlfriend Olivia Wilde.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen Finalize Divorce https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/national-international/tom-brady-and-gisele-bundchen-finalize-divorce/2980436/ 2980436 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2022/10/brady-bundchen2.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen have finalized their divorce, with each making statements on Instagram addressing the split.

Brady and Bundchen reportedly have been living separately for the past “couple months” and hired lawyers earlier this month to determine how their assets would be divided if they separate, possibly signaling an end to their marriage.

Brady and Bündchen have two children — Benjamin, age 12, and Vivian, age 9 — and Brady also has a 15-year-old son, Jack, from his previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynihan.

Reports this offseason suggested that Bündchen was upset with Brady’s decision to return for a 23rd NFL season after announcing his retirement in early February.

The supermodel and the quarterback were married in 2009.

In a statement Friday, Brady said “In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage. We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together. We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve.”

“We arrived at this decision to end our marriage after much consideration.”

“Doing so is, of course, painful and difficult, like it is for many people who go through the same thing every day around the world. However we wish only the best for each other as we pursue whatever new chapters in our lives that are yet to be written.”

“And we kindly ask for privacy and respect as we navigate what is to come in the days and week ahead. Thank you”

Bündchen released her own statement on Instagram at the same time.

“With much gratitude for our time together, Tom and I have amicably finalized our divorce. My priority has always been and will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart. We will continue co-parenting to give them the love, care and attention they greatly deserve.”

“The decision to end a marriage is never easy but we have grown apart and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always.”

“I kindly ask that our privacy be respected during this sensitive time.”

The move ends months of speculation on the status of their relationship after he decided to come out of a short-lived off-season retirement and return to the NFL.

Here are some of the things that happened in recent months:

Brady, Bündchen Hire Divorce Lawyers

NBC News confirmed Oct. 4 that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback and his supermodel wife Gisele Bündchen have both retained divorce lawyers.

Brady and Bündchen reportedly have been living separately for the past “couple months” and now have hired lawyers to determine how their assets would be divided if they separate, possibly signaling an end to their marriage.

Brady has two children with Bündchen — Benjamin, age 14, and Vivian, age 9 — as well as a 15-year-old son, Jack, from his previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynihan. Reports this offseason suggested that Bündchen was upset with Brady’s decision to return for a 23rd NFL season after announcing his retirement in early February.

In a recent interview with Elle magazine, the model expressed her concern at her husband’s return to football.

Brady’s Kids Join Him at First Home Game

As the Tampa Bay Buccaneers took on the Green Bay Packers on Sept. 25, Brady’s three kids were on hand to cheer on the quarterback in his first home game of the season.

In a sweet video posted to Twitter on the Bucs’ official account, Brady is seen embracing his 12-year-old son Benjamin and 9-year-old daughter Vivian, who he shares with Bündchen, and son Jack, 15, who he shares with ex Bridget Moynahan, on his way to the field. The team captioned the clip, “All about family.”

The afternoon marked the first game of the NFL season that Tom’s kids had attended. But one member of the Brady family was noticeably absent: Gisele.

A Wellness Check on Tampa Tom

On Sept. 20, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times joined NBC Sports Boston’s Tom E. Curran for a wellness check on the seven-time Super Bowl champion after he appeared visibly frustrated during the Buccaneers’ Week 2 win over the New Orleans Saints.

“I think there obviously is something in his personal life that is affecting him,” Stroud said. “We’ve all seen the weight loss. I don’t think that’s part of the TB12 plan. Maybe it is, I don’t know. For what we saw out there on the field Sunday, he was very short-tempered. He’s tablet-throwing Tommy now. Jumping on his own players for dropping passes and things like that. He even said on his podcast that he was a little too wound up…”

“But there’s no question that the whole episode of retiring, unretiring, new head coach — there’s a lot of changes going on. It’s been a different year altogether.”

Brady Spikes Tablet in Frustration

The seven-time Super Bowl champion was visibly frustrated during the Bucs’ Week 2 win over the New Orleans Saints. Tampa’s offense failed to score in the first half and had only three points through three quarters before pulling away in the fourth. Brady was seen screaming at his teammates on the sideline and spiking his tablet device after one of many failed Buccaneers drives.

It wasn’t Brady’s first time angrily tossing a tablet. In fact, he did so during Tampa Bay’s 9-0 loss to New Orleans last December.

As a result of Brady’s antics, the NFL sent out a league-wide memo that week warning players that they could face “significant fines” if they break tablets or other league-issued equipment going forward.

Gisele Speaks Out

In an interview with Elle magazine last month, Bündchen spoke about her marriage to Brady, saying she has “done her part” to make it work.

“”I’ve done my part, which is [to] be there for [Tom],” she shared with Elle in an interview published Sept. 13. “I moved to Boston, and I focused on creating a cocoon and a loving environment for my children to grow up in and to be there supporting him and his dreams.”

She continued, “Seeing my children succeed and become the beautiful little humans that they are, seeing him succeed, and being fulfilled in his career — it makes me happy. At this point in my life, I feel like I’ve done a good job on that.”

While Bündchen said she feels “very fulfilled” being a wife and mom to the couple’s children, Benjamin, 12, Vivian, 9, as well as stepson Jack, 15, she admitted she is ready to start pursuing her own dreams, including environmental activism, especially in her home country of Brazil.

“I have a huge list of things that I have to do, that I want to do,” she said. “Now it’s going to be my turn.”

Bündchen Tweets Supportive Message

While Bündchen may not be on totally board with Brady’s decision to keep playing, she does remain supportive of her husband. As Tom took the field for his first game against the Dallas Cowboys on Sept. 11, his wife sent a supportive message.

“Let’s go @TomBrady!,” she tweeted. “Let’s go Bucs!”

Brady Opens Up About ‘Emotions’

In an interview the day after the Week 1 win over the Cowboys, Brady admitted to host Jim Gray on his weekly “Let’s Go!” podcast that this year has a different feel than others.

“I’m feeling more than things in the past for some reason,” he said. “You know, I’m just really feeling intensely my emotions. And I feel like I always have that, but I think when you get close to the end…

“I don’t know exactly where I’m at with that and there’s no decision to be made. It’s not like I have 10 years left. I definitely don’t have that. So all these, I just am never gonna take for granted, you know?”

“I haven’t had a Christmas in 23 years and I haven’t had a Thanksgiving in 23 years,” Brady added. “I haven’t celebrated birthdays with people that I care about that are, you know, born from August to late January. And you know, I’m not able to be at funerals and I’m not able to be at weddings.

“I think there comes a point in your life where you say, ‘You know what? I had my fill and it’s enough and time to go on, to move into other parts of life.’ I push myself to the max and I got everything I could out of my ability.”

TB12 Takes a Break

Brady took an unprecedented 11-day hiatus during the preseason and reportedly spent that time with his family in the Bahamas. Shortly after his return, he hinted at the struggles of balancing family and football, telling reporters, “I’m 45 years old, man. There’s a lot of s— going on.”

That led to a ton of speculation about his personal life, and about whether he was going to appear on FOX’s “The Masked Singer.”

Brady even joked about the rumor when he returned, tweeting, “Wasn’t on the masked singer last week. Was wearing a mask though,” along with an ad for his BRADY clothing line.

But what was Brady really up to during his absence?

The veteran QB spent “the bulk” of those 11 days “in the Bahamas at a private resort with his family,” NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported. Per Rapoport, Brady was honoring a “mid-retirement promise” to Bündchen that he’d vacation with her and their family in August for the first time in their relationship.

Four months after her split from Sebastian Bear-McClard, the supermodel is understandably feeling a mix of emotions. “I can tell you that I have never been single before,” she told Harper’s BAZAAR for its November 2022 home issue. “I feel anger, sadness. I feel excitement. I feel joy. I feel levity. The only good thing I know is that I’m feeling all those things, which is nice because it makes me believe that I’ll be okay.”

As for those rumors about her and Brad Pitt and then those pictures of her kissing DJ Orazio Rispo, well, as she put it, “I have gone on dates.” Though when it comes downloading the apps, the 31-year-old said, “Give me time.”

These days, she’s more confident in finding Mr. Right.

“To use the TikTok phrase, I was a bit of a ‘pick-me girl’ in the sense that I wasn’t very good at deciding what I liked,” she shared. “I really wanted to be chosen. It was hard for me to go on a date with someone and think about how much I did or didn’t like them. I would have been thinking about how they were perceiving me, what it meant, what they wanted from me, what it meant about my self-worth.”

She added, “I don’t have that anymore. So now it’s really fun to go to dinner with someone and be like, ‘Cool. I really enjoyed these parts of them. I really didn’t like these other parts.'”

No matter the outcome of her dating life, she’ll always have a man waiting back home: Son Sly, 12-months, who she shares with Sebastian. “I’ve never had such clear priorities in my life,” she told the publication.

“Number one is Sly, and that’s that.”

Khloe Kardashian Says She Turned Down Tristan Thompson's Marriage Proposal https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/khloe-kardashian-says-she-turned-down-tristan-thompsons-marriage-proposal/2954610/ 2954610 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2022/05/KhloeTristan052022.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Khloe Kardashian did not hear wedding bells with Tristan Thompson.

On the Sept. 29 episode of Hulu’s “The Kardashians,” the Good American founder shared that she had previously rejected a proposal from the NBA player, as she wasn’t “comfortable” with where they were at in their relationship.

“What I said, is that I need to make sure this is a totally different relationship,” Khloe told her sister Kim Kardashian, “because I want to be proud to say I’m engaged to anyone. And that’s why I said, ‘you know, I’m not comfortable accepting this right now, because I’m not excited to tell my family.'”

While Khloe acknowledged that this was likely “hurtful” for Tristan to hear, she knew that it was her truth, adding, “I’m not ever going to accept something and give someone false hope — and I said that to him.”

According to Kim, she only found out about the proposal because Tristan told her. “I asked him months later, the night after I thought it happened,” she told Khloe, “and he’s like, ‘Oh, I did it months ago. She didn’t tell you guys?'”

In a confessional, Kim further explained that Tristan had called her to share his Valentine’s Day 2021 proposal plan. “Which was like a year since they had drama,” she noted. “And then I called him the day after and I was like, ‘Hey, I never heard anything from Khloe. Oh my god, did you propose?’ And he was like, ‘Oh yeah, I did in December.'”

Khloe and Tristan — who share daughter True, 4, and a 2-month-old son — have been on-again, off-again since first getting together in 2016, as cheating allegations have plagued their relationship. The pair split again last year after it was confirmed that Tristan had fathered Maralee Nichols‘ son Theo, now 9 months old.

“I take full responsibility for my actions,” Tristan wrote on his Instagram Story Jan. 3. “Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son. I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately.”

In the season two premiere of The Kardashians, Khloe clarified that she and Tristan had begun the surrogacy process for their second child before Tristan’s paternity suit was revealed. “I wouldn’t want anyone to think I did this after the fact,” she said. “Why would I wanna have a baby with someone who’s having a baby with somebody else?”

The exes welcomed their son on July 28. His name has yet to be revealed.

Kanye West Apologizes to Kim Kardashian for ‘Any Stress That I Have Caused' https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/kanye-west-apologizes-to-kim-kardashian-for-any-stress-that-i-have-caused/2947180/ 2947180 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2021/01/kim-kanye-getty-tlmd.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 Kanye West is trying to right his wrongs.

The Grammy winner — who shares kids North West, 9, Saint West, 6, Chicago West, 4, and Psalm West, 3, with Kim Kardashian — is saying sorry to his ex-wife for “any stress” he said he may have caused.

Earlier this year, Ye shared and deleted several Instagram posts making accusations aimed at Kim’s parenting decisions and has also taken aim at her relationship with Pete Davidson. “This is the mother of my children and I apologize for any stress that I have caused, even in my frustration because God calls me to be stronger,” Kanye — whose divorce case with Kim is still in limbo — said during a Sept. 22 appearance on “Good Morning America.”

“But also, ain’t nobody else going to be causing no stress either. I need this person to be least stressed and the best sound mind and as calm as possible to be able to raise those children.” As far as whether he feels like he has an equal part in their co-parenting dynamic, Kanye — who recently terminated his partnership with Gap — continued, “I do have a voice, but I had to fight for it.”

He continued, “That hurts you when you have to like scream about what your kids are wearing and little nuances where there was a parallel to what was happening at Gap, what was happening at Adidas and what was happening in my home.”

“It was all kind of a disregard for the voice of something that I co-created,” he shared. “I co-created the children. I co-created the product at Adidas. Then, co-created the product at Gap and there is a parallel and the parallel does touch on discrimination.” Referring his project-based school academy located in California, Kanye added, “I want my kids to go to Donda and I have to fight for say so.”

Kanye’s apology comes a week after the “Touch The Sky” artist also touched on their co-parenting dynamic as of late. “Even to this day, I’ll still give Kim advice on things that can help, because that’s gonna go to the kids,” Kanye said during the Sept. 15 episode of the Mind Full podcast. “She’s still got to, basically, 80 percent of the time, raise those children.”

Shakira Breaks Silence on ‘Tough' Gerard Piqué Split https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/shakira-breaks-silence-on-tough-gerard-pique-split/2946875/ 2946875 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2022/05/AP22146536440509-e1678589534718.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,180 Shakira won’t lie: It’s hard talking about her split from Gerard Piqué.

Though it’s been three months since the superstar singer, 45, and the soccer player, 35, announced their breakup, Shakira is still finding it difficult to address her family’s new chapter.

“I’ve remained quiet and just tried to process it all,” Shakira — who shares sons Milan, 9, and Sasha, 7, with Piqué — told Elle in the publication’s October cover story. “Um, and yeah, it’s hard to talk about it, especially because I’m still going through it, and because I’m in the public eye and because our separation is not like a regular separation. And so it’s been tough not only for me, but also for my kids. Incredibly difficult.”

“I have paparazzi camping outside, in front of my house, 24/7,” Shakira added. “And there’s not a place where I can hide from them with my kids, except for my own house. You know, we can’t take a walk in the park like a regular family or go have an ice cream or do any activity without paparazzi following us. So it’s hard.”

Still, the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer is doing her best to shield her kids from the breakup — and the media attention. “I try to do it and to protect them, because that’s my number one mission in life,” she continued. “But then they hear things in school from their friends or they come across some disagreeable, unpleasant news online, and it just affects them, you know?”

Shakira & Gerard Piqué: Romance Rewind

Months later, though, the breakup is still hard to process. As Shakira told Elle, “Sometimes I just feel like this is all a bad dream and that I’m going to wake up at some point.” But that’s not the case. In fact, Piqué has seemingly moved on from their relationship.

“It’s real,” Shakira said of her breakup from the soccer star. “And what’s also real is the disappointment to see something as sacred and as special as I thought was the relationship I had with my kids’ father and see that turned into something vulgarized and cheapened by the media. And all of this while my dad has been in the ICU and I’ve been fighting on different fronts. Like I said, this is probably the darkest hour of my life.”

In early June, Shakira and Piqué — who went public with their romance in 2011 — formed a united front as they jointly confirmed their separation. “We regret to confirm that we are parting ways,” they said in a statement to E! News on June 4. “For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy. Thank you for your understanding.”

Company Founded by Angelina Jolie Sues Brad Pitt for $250 Million Over French Winery Battle https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/company-founded-by-angelina-jolie-sues-brad-pitt-for-250-million-over-french-winery-battle/2934385/ 2934385 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2022/09/brangelina.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,169 The legal drama between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie has reached a new height.

According to court documents obtained by E! News, Nouvel, the company the “Maleficent” actress founded, has filed a $250 million lawsuit against the Bullet Train actor, alleging that he devised a campaign to “seize control” of Chateau Miraval–the 1300-acre country estate the former couple bought together in 2008–after their divorce.

“In retaliation for the divorce and custody proceedings, Pitt embarked on a multi-faceted, years-long campaign to seize control of Chateau Miraval and appropriate the company’s assets for his benefit and that of his own companies and friends,” the complaint filed Sept. 6 reads. “Appointing himself the rightful owner of Chateau Miraval, his twin objectives were to usurp the value of Jolie’s company, Nouvel, and to obtain sole ownership of Chateau Miraval.”

The lawsuit states that Pitt “wasted” the Chateau’s assets, “spending millions on vanity projects, including more than $1 million on swimming pool renovations and other funds restoring a recording studio.”

It further alleges that he “attempted to turn over 50% of the ownership of Chateau Miraval‘s most valuable assets, the Miraval trademarks” to one of his friends for free, taking “millions of dollars of value from Nouvel and put it in the pockets of Pitt and his friends.”

The suit also states that the “Once Upon a Time…In Hollywood” star and Jolie—who share six children together—had an agreement that she would oversee their humanitarian projects, including the Jolie-Pitt Foundation, while “oversight of the couple’s investment in Chateau Miraval was left in the hands of Pitt.”

However, the lawsuit alleges Pitt operated the winery without conferring with Jolie and when she asked to get more information and control over the property, Pitt tried to “block Jolie and Nouvel from obtaining information about or managing Chateau Miraval.”

In October 2021, the lawsuit states that Jolie sold Nouvel to an international beverage company after Pitt “ignored Jolie’s final offer to sell her interest in the winery on the same terms Pitt had proposed but without the hush clause.”

“Although Jolie was not obligated to sell to Pitt, she nevertheless offered to sell her interest to him and negotiated with him for months,” the suit reads. “Nearing a deal, Pitt’s hubris got the better of him: he made an eleventh-hour demand for onerous and irrelevant conditions, including a provision designed to prohibit Jolie from publicly speaking about the events that had led to the breakdown of their marriage. Pitt knew that much of Jolie’s wealth and liquidity were tied up in Nouvel and used that fact to try to force Jolie to agree to his unreasonable terms.”

In response to the filing, a source close to Pitt told E! News that the lawsuit is “yet another rehash and repackaging of old material to try and distract from the other party’s own behavior.”

This lawsuit is the latest in the former couple’s legal battle over the French estate. In February, Pitt filed a lawsuit against Jolie for allegedly selling her interests in their once-shared French winery without his permission.

And in June, the “Troy” actor filed court documents alleging, “Jolie pursued and then consummated the purported sale in secret, purposely keeping Pitt in the dark, and knowingly violating Pitt’s contractual rights. By doing so, Jolie sought to seize profits she had not earned and returns on an investment she did not make. Also through the purported sale, Jolie sought to inflict harm on Pitt.”

At the time, E! News reached out to Jolie’s team, who declined to comment.

Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans Break Up After Nearly 5 Years of Marriage https://www.nbcchicago.com/entertainment/entertainment-news/kelsea-ballerini-and-morgan-evans-break-up-after-nearly-5-years-of-marriage/2928633/ 2928633 post https://media.nbcchicago.com/2022/08/GettyImages-1382653947.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&fit=300,194 Kelsea Ballerini is giving an unapologetic update on her relationship status.

The “Yeah Boy” singer confirmed in a message to fans on Aug. 29 that she and husband Morgan Evans are going their separate ways after almost five years of marriage. “Friends, I’ve always tried my best to share my life with you in a real and vulnerable way, while also protecting layers of my personal life as they unfold,” the country star wrote in her Instagram Story note. “This is now public record so I wanted you to hear from me directly that I am going through a divorce.”

“This deeply difficult decision is the result of a journey of love, growth, and effort that ultimately has come to an end,” Ballerini, who tied the knot with the “Kiss Somebody” singer in Dec. 2017, continued. “It’s hard to find the words here…but I feel extremely grateful for the years of marriage to Morgan and hopeful for the next seasons.”

Ballerini concluded her message with a request. “With very active schedules coming up,” she wrote, “please be mindful that we are both fragile, actively healing, and showing up the best we can.”

Kelsea Ballerini’s Best Looks

In court documents filed by Ballerini on Aug. 26 and obtained by E! News, the “Peter Pan” artist cites “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for her split from the Australian singer, who has yet to comment on their breakup.

Ballerini, 28, and Evans, 37, first met in 2016 while co-hosting Australia’s Country Music Channel Awards. Later that same year, Evans proposed to Ballerini on Christmas Day.

“This morning, 9 months and 13 days later, he got down on one knee in the kitchen while I was burning pancakes and asked me to marry him,” she shared with fans at the time. “Loving him has been the greatest gift of my life. And now I get to do it for life. #HeCalledDibs.”

E! News has reached out to Evan’s rep for comment and has not heard back.
